hmm.. true also.. or you can just adjust the lights so that it isnt that bright ?

Leaking is good, otherwise can just turn the light off, or just like what u did - sell it off and use Filco enug blush.gif

Question from my friend for those who are using white keyboard especially Filco, Ducky, Keycool and Leopold :

which board can maintain the white colour longer?

i know white usually easy get dirty and it's a dust magnet. i heard Keycool easily can trap a dust and it's become dirty after for some month of usage. hmm.gif

Filco white is not pure white.
In case of turning yellow, I guess Filco one is less obvious.

Yeah, I know, that's the bad thing about stock keyboards, they have to be at 12 because all the stock keycaps letters are at 12, so the LED will shine through the legends. If you are good at soldering, you might be able to mod it to 6. : p

yeap, just watch some video about Keycool. the user said he use his Keycool for work and after 2 months using it the keyboard colour start to turn slightly yellowish.

i think Leopold, Ducky or Filco should be a good choice. just need him to save some money for better branded keyboard.

You do not want the LEDs at 6'oclock position when using Cherry height caps.
It is ridiculous. Lying back and watching movies on my PC, the LED is shining into my eyes.
Gonna desolder the ones I have. Luckily it is just a few LEDs.


Good at soldering or not, you cannot change the LED from 12 to 6 position and vice versa, without a new PCB or an add in board like what the Koreans did.

Got the money, go for ducky.
Mx switches same quality, all are produce by cherry.

trying to get one of those WFD plates atm, would you be able to help me solder the LEDs and switches on to my keyboard? i am still thinking if i should get filco, or what. dont think the plate would work on ducky. the switches ill probably sticker and lube myself, cause i know you wont do that. hahahaha
