basically any light color keycaps you choose, the led will shine through, note that the LED produces a big dot on the keycaps, they are more visible in real life.



and note that dark colors - red, black on the keyboard, the lights wouldnt shine through, and would produce neon-light effect instead, they look better when your room is dark.. so unless you always play in a very dark room, it won't be that noticeable.

Yeah, I know, that's the bad thing about stock keyboards, they have to be at 12 because all the stock keycaps letters are at 12, so the LED will shine through the legends. If you are good at soldering, you might be able to mod it to 6. : p

kai, would you be free and able to assemble my keyboard project for me?

trying to get one of those WFD plates atm, would you be able to help me solder the LEDs and switches on to my keyboard? i am still thinking if i should get filco, or what. dont think the plate would work on ducky. the switches ill probably sticker and lube myself, cause i know you wont do that. hahahaha

have you seen the kmac2 mimic has? totally no led, not even on caps lock and scroll lack. looks pretty good. o_O

sounds okay i think, yeah i heard him saying it in australia forums. he was actually buying for his girlfriend. hahaha i think it looks pretty nice, with all the assembling, lubing, stickered and modified springs. but after shipping and everything, im thinking it would costs about 550$ already.

that's the details you need on them. basically if you know how to do soldering and stuff, i think everything would come up close to the cost of a filco, but with phantom, you can customize everything to your liking.
