I predict Haswell Surface Pro will announce around July or August

Im waiting for the haswell generation, more than 5 hrs of solid use is extremely useful.
Hope the price doesnt deviate too much.

I'm having been waiting for pro version long time already. i'm not gonna waiting anymore. after pro2 then pro3... then that going to wait forever...

Maybe 40% increase speed + more energy efficient? And probably have 256gb option. Yeah i know, if you wanna buy you might as well buy the latest one right? I have a feeling its around the corner. If Surface Pro launch earlier then it's different story la.

Our sources have just leaked us an update on the Surface Pro release this Friday, revealing that the 64GB and 128GB variations of the Surface Pro will retail at an estimated RM2,749 and RM3,049 respectively. That's a RM600 difference between the 64GB Surface Pro and the 64GB Surface RT bundle, which comes with a black Touch Cover.

Unlike the Surface RT, we understand that the Surface Pro will not be released in a bundle, so users who want a Touch/Type Cover will have to purchase those separately. With the Touch Cover retailing at RM379 and the Type Cover at RM409, it's safe to say that users planning on getting a Pro will be looking at prices from RM3,128 onwards (Surface Pro 64GB + Touch Cover).

i just purchased surface pro in Singapore.
Sharing my input
1)it supports java and flash like a charm, viola, intranet etc will works.
2) Yes, it is a hot machine. i didnt even open a lot of apps. Maybe due to charging mode?
3) It is a powerful machine and the keyboard sticks perfectly, turn over the machine and holding the keyboard only, the tablet wont drop! good magnet there.
4) the HD screen is crispy eye candy.

important : My unit is faulty! After checking the internet it seems it is a common problem although not many.

problem : When charging, i will fell electric shock from the back. This is important considering this machine is short on battery life and constant charging while using will be common. I will be bringing my unit back to challenger for exchange.

ps: when you buy, u probably should try charging it and run your hand behind the surface, if you feeling electric current vibrating, change it.

After you change to another unit. Maybe you can do us a favor, charge it to 100% and try do what you normally do. See how long it can last.

Steep price for a tablet that is not even notebook convertible. Need to think twice to type this tablet on my lap with it's not so practical keyboard
