D7100 is enough if u dont need large buffer and extreme weather proof...and which not many ppl need anyway.
D800 upgrade? why not D700 or D3s?

means nikon wont out d400 d?

Unlikely in my opinion, Nikon doesn't want another body to compete against the D4 unlike previous line up people would opt for 8fps D700/D300 instead of D3/D3s due to price. Profit!

Hi guys, need some opinions and advises here.
I am using D5100, i love to do portrait a lot, but i am currently studying abroad which ultra wide angle can be useful when im travelling around, but the focal length wont be much helpful in portrait. SO i am struggling whether to buy tamron 17-50mm or tamron 10-24mm.

Anyone encountered this dilemma b4, pls give some advise. THanks !!!

Get tamron 17-50mm. a very versatile lens. 10-24mm is too wide if you shoot portraits close up at the wide end, the head will distort.

Get the 10-24mm for portraits and 35mm/50mm 1.8G to go along with it! biggrin.gif Just another suggestion!
