QUOTE(CreativePhoto @ May 2 2013, 05:02 PM) My friend bought a D600 from me last month. today he bring it back to me in this shape eh.. i jst saw on fb also.. uh.. now I'm worried! Will take more care when using with the heavy push pull 80-200 ![]() That D600 Was attach with a Nikkor 24-70 F2.8 when it fall down from a table (4ft height). The metal lens mount Teardwon from the D600 and the stick on the back of 24-70.. We brought it back to nikon malaysia service center today and they said the cost of repair it back to fully functioning might cost another D600... (at the end he buy another new D600, and will leave this in his dry box for the rest of his life..) Guys, do not hold your D600 with 1 hand when a heavy lens attached. The Metal lens mount is stick on that piece of plastic (D700 and D800 are on metal body) |

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 3 2013, 10:22 AM) that one drop la...anything drop also u most probably pay Do note that the 80-200 is heavier than the 70-200... anyways I never worry about that when using my d300... maybe I didnt know betteri held D7000 with 2x tc and 70-200 with 1 hand with no problems. QUOTE(CreativePhoto @ May 3 2013, 12:04 PM) just dont drop or knock that lens somewhere.. There is always few reason why D600 is only cost 60% of D800... its cheaper, does that mean we have to accept inferior products? It will only add another 'X' to all the d600's troubles. Even if you save RM 1,000 per month it will also take 5 months at least to own a d600. LOL. cheap? without lens! that said, I damn suka the iso 3200 .. lol sorry la.. i very ******, cos every few months sure got 'issues' with d600 in the 'news'. me gets a lot of flak from partner who is canon fanboyz haha This post has been edited by gerald7: May 3 2013, 04:00 PM |

QUOTE(gnome @ May 3 2013, 07:03 PM) Like i say things happen. The product is fine, if the owner didnt drop the camera it might not have been spoilt like that. Heck i use 80200 on my D90 also no problem. Always hang it on shoulder when im not shooting, didnt see the lens drop off also few months back saw online... onedeeX crack its metal housing right in the middle.. >_< morale of the cerita is dun drop your expensive gearsEven using D800 still doesnt guarantee you survive the same accident. |
