QUOTE(vin_ann @ May 7 2013, 09:46 AM) Revenge. Oh..Kepong Lang..I see. Gotta redeem myself on the 240km loop this coming Sunday. last year still a noob newbie, i rode up Fraser top, and i lost my group, rode myself back with total 210km. this year, pray ti kong ang kong, kuan kong blessing, will complete the loop. Kepong (ride from home) - Uptown - KKB - Fraser - Bentong - G. Sempah - Kepong. er... does this sound a challenge to you? Why are you a newbie then? Newbie normally wouldn't dare to venture 240km out in the wild, where got the legs and stamina to tahan so bloody long, unless you are the insanely type, want to challenge everything there is, including us! For sure you are no noob, rubbing shoulder with the big boys now.. So to KKB, using Sg Buloh or Batu Caves route? This post has been edited by Mac Wai: May 7 2013, 10:35 AM |

Evans 2nd place is even more pointless after seeing the results with Hyjedal and Wiggins all having the same finishing time as him...only gained some 12 secs for evans and 8 for hyjedal... if the winning margin is as close as last year... then this seconds might be important...
but as the article below says... the critical riders are already showing their cards that early on and it might reveal to wiggins what form they are in ahead of the climbing stages... they are trying to rake up every bit of gain before the next ITT comes up... Hesjedal defiant over his stage 3 attacks at the Giro d’Italia and Sky management is screwing with Froome's head... Brailsford: Froome, not Wiggins, is Sky’s Tour leader |

Not sure, I know we can first go Kuang, then Rawang trunk road. Was wondering if there is any superoute that can be both fun and enjoyable to ride?

QUOTE(butthead @ May 7 2013, 09:57 AM) the video from sramtech is no longer available... i think they removed it and replaced it with the new red shifter set up... thx bro..I will do that tonight!but the ruler method is actually not as good if you like your shifter tilted up... the ruler method is a sort of middle ground where your reach for the brake levers from the drops is well covered while the shifter is not tilted up so much...again, what bars you use affects a lot on how the shifter transition feels from bar to hood.. for your case... i think you have to adjust the bars to where you like it... especially the drops where you hold them..and then unwrap your bar tape and move the shifters up further and re-wrap again... a bit trial and error until you get it dialed in... I tried to do base building session last night, was planning to gain 100km but ended up doing only 50km due to no discipline. I should stick with my own speed, but it was tempted to tried to overtake others and left them..in the end, i stop at 50km mark because too hungry to pedal more. it would be a lot easier if I ride in a group but I chose to ride solo, so the wind.....the headwind...is something that I curse everytime..it's a gale! life as a cyclist in desert like this would be more enjoyable if there's no such wind |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ May 7 2013, 11:19 AM) wat does that have to do with GE???as our Prime Mojito says...we have to accept the results of the GE and move forward...therefore we have to accept that this is a sports related thread and move forward with being more serious about sports and not some chicks from nowhere... QUOTE(mrjgx @ May 7 2013, 11:20 AM) thx bro..I will do that tonight! base training is best done as a solitary practice or with 1 or 2 of your close ride buddies who rides at your pace...I tried to do base building session last night, was planning to gain 100km but ended up doing only 50km due to no discipline. QUOTE(Mac Wai @ May 7 2013, 11:33 AM) yeah... wat about EX5??? i have the EX5.. now i want the ES5 ![]() expressway is NSE highway is federal...hence North South Expressway and Federal Highway... for the very obvious... expressway is comprised of 10 characters and highway is 7 characters long... for the less obvious... expressway is the same sucky pothole filled road that has less lubangs to make access for lazy folks harder and constant urination stops to encourage you to buy junk from overpriced shops and the highways are the reverse of it except for sucky potholes... i hope i made my self politically clear and there will be no disputes about the explanation and no social media outburst on why the explanation was not made available to the general public nor was there phantom posters that came up with the explanation that explains nothing...
