Case or generic waterproof pouch? Care to share a pic? And how deep have you gone with it?

Again, I don't think you can use the S-pen in water as it has components inside.

It's a pouch. I didn't go deep la, just snorkeling. It says 10m.

What about pressing volume button? The camera app should allow you to use volume button to take pictures.

Oh, I haven't try. I see the settings first.

Right. I have one of those as well. However, the screen may not be able to take 10m of water pressure. You can go till about 6-7m without scuba equipment, but your ears will suffer a bit. The screen.... hmm.gif

@joyrest hmmm my battery life cant last full day due to constant screen on and surfing. My usage is extremely heavy. And my brightness is max cuz I like to see my theme and its vibrancy

Regarding the s pen underwater, I dont think it will spoil underwater but while it is underwater Iforsee some issues. For one the screen may be very confused with the pen whether the button is pressed or not. When the button is pressed its merely completing the electromagnetic circuit within the pen. Water may or may not mess with this. End up your pen maybe cant use. But after that if its out of the water and dry it should be back to normal.

I think exposing the circuitry of the spen to salt water will kill it. Corrosion bad...

This thread shows what is inside Note 1 spen. I suppose its similar.

I forgot the term used but SGS3's touch screen wouldn't work unless u use your fingers . There has been a lot of complaints from users from countries with 4 seasons as they cant use the phone during winter , wearing gloves . So what they did was made a special gloves for it , something like this . This might be the reason why u can't use your touch screen underwater with your case . And it seems S4 solved this problem since mid range models also have this features .

No wonder. But, are the both Note 2 and S3 screen the same? Meaning Note 2 wont work underwater as well right? But it seems disasternero made it work.

well because i was at office early in the morning, cleaner come clean my table, pail put beside, i blur blur there, accidentally push the phone into the pail. never happen before when the pail wasn't there zzz. maybe i can go to 9gag make a post. "i don't always push my phone by accident, but when i do, it takes a beautiful dive into the pail". once born with bad luck, always have bad luck lol.

both of u using the same case ? If not , most probably a different kind of material was used that enable touch screen function with the case .
