Hi, I have a question regarding the S-Pen. Is S-Pen waterproof?

Was thinking of using S-Pen to touch the Note 2 screen underwater as it was hard to touch with finger while underwater. It says the S-Pen gets power from the screen. Will the pen will get short circuit?

Yeah I have an underwater case for Note 2. Can't touch the shutter button on screen while underwater.

Case or generic waterproof pouch? Care to share a pic? And how deep have you gone with it?

Again, I don't think you can use the S-pen in water as it has components inside.

It's a pouch. I didn't go deep la, just snorkeling. It says 10m.

What about pressing volume button? The camera app should allow you to use volume button to take pictures.

Oh, I haven't try. I see the settings first.

Maybe I will try tonight with Note 2. The last time I tried was on S3. Can't press anything on screen using finger while underwater.

I think exposing the circuitry of the spen to salt water will kill it. Corrosion bad...

This thread shows what is inside Note 1 spen. I suppose its similar.

I forgot the term used but SGS3's touch screen wouldn't work unless u use your fingers . There has been a lot of complaints from users from countries with 4 seasons as they cant use the phone during winter , wearing gloves . So what they did was made a special gloves for it , something like this . This might be the reason u can't use your touch screen underwater with your case .
*
No wonder. But, are the both Note 2 and S3 screen the same? Meaning Note 2 wont work underwater as well right? But it seems disasternero made it work.
