Faced this all the time but lazy 2 go dig out the reason since I hardly restart my phone . What u can do is this . Every time u reboot , u most go 2 recovery to clear your cache n dalvik cache . This will solve the problem until your next reboot .

Try removing your micro sd if u have any and reboot your phone . Seems alot of users have this problem with their micro sd plugged in

Set a budget in mind and allocate your fund as well . Once u see any deal within your price range , just grab it . Dont bother searching for another which might be RM10 cheaper . HP prices will drop eventually , u can save another RM10 but 1 month down , u will lose even more .

All running apps were close but some apps still trying 2 sync . Did u make sure all your apps are not sync eg gmail accoumt ? If not , when u off everything and those apps cant sync , u r actually draining more battery then usual .

I forgot the term used but SGS3's touch screen wouldn't work unless u use your fingers . There has been a lot of complaints from users from countries with 4 seasons as they cant use the phone during winter , wearing gloves . So what they did was made a special gloves for it , something like this . This might be the reason why u can't use your touch screen underwater with your case . And it seems S4 solved this problem since mid range models also have this features .

both of u using the same case ? If not , most probably a different kind of material was used that enable touch screen function with the case .

Wrong kernel ...... U sure it's the same model number ? China been famous for having dual sim or even different network configuration . Better double check

Not really . Depends actually on kernels . A few users and even myself do flash wrong kernels at times . For eg flashing N7105 kernel onto N7100 . Phone will still boot but no network and baseband unknown .

Forgot to add , what i meant was the kernel is meant 4 your phone , just different variants .

yup but i didn't enable the color tweak .

Since u can boot into recovery , there is an option u can try BUT I never use this option before for Note2 . Go to mount and storage > mount /sdcard with your cable plug in . If the recovery suppprt , u should be able to access your memory card in recovery .

Like I said , I never try it for Note2 before . Some developers enable it for recovery , some don't . It's worth a shot , no harm trying since u r kinda out of option . Anyway , clearing data doesn't format your sd card if the files in your sd card is what u r worried about .

I presume u r still holding on to the 3 buttons upon seeing the "Samsung Note2 " screen right ? Try this . Boot via the 3 buttons . Upon seeing the logo , release only the power button while still holding on to d menu + volume up button . Keep holding for a while . Personally , if I boot into recovery via hardware buttons , at times I need 2 hold up to 10 sec . Holding on to the power button cause the phone to shutdown n rebooted given the period is so long . If this still fails , reflash your recovery via odin .

Try to flash again recovery while waiting via odin .

Normally no but if u use TWRP recovery , u can include EFS in your backup
