QUOTE(magnumkaiser @ May 7 2013, 05:41 PM) its hang when you on it and also when press up home power but can go download mode down home power? You might need to reflash a stock rom and then redo the rooting process. Or you could download one of those pre-rooted firmware from XDA user as i9000 then use Mobile Odin free version to flash in your recovery. BTW I'm getting the phone control codes (eg *#nnn#) working again instead of MMI Code not found errors. Periodic resetting is good I suppose. QUOTE(magnumkaiser @ May 7 2013, 06:09 PM) does mobile odin and odin make any difference? Technically Mobile Odin provides better of control of items you want to flash, which maps to the diagram I made in post 6. Mobile Odin also allows you to flash normal stock ROMs and inject root, and keep Mobile Odin reinstalled after flash (for the Pro version). So MOP is a better tool. Post 8 has some post links regarding MOP.

TWRP has this option. +1 For those who backup their EFS using EFS backup tool found in xda months ago like last year , download the latest n backup again . Apparently the first few version got some bug and EFS can't be restore . That was also 1 of the reason I ended up visiting Samsung last time .

Too bad it feels like I took out my note 2 battery and put an s2 battery lol.

Apparently the backup done then can't be restore , was a bug . The dev fixed it on his 2nd or 3rd release . Didn't realise about it until I was trying 2 restore mine a few months back .

Don't forget to buy it from a reputable seller preferable with shop. Individual seller might gone AWOL if something bad happen to the phone...leaving the buyer nowhere else to claim warranty.

Should go one step further. Backup efs, leave one copy in sd card, copy one efs backup into pc as well.
