QUOTE(davidwyl @ May 7 2013, 11:52 AM) modem is very regional base ... Note 2 modem is not really regionalized afaik. The same modem version is all over the world. Example, your LK7 is local comes with forgot what version rom already even though your unit is AP.some modem perform better in some area... using xxdlk7 since the first day, now just thinking to try the ori modem that come with note2 in malaysia. maybe will perform better, just maybe. Even on S2 i tried so many different local, oversea, undersea modem not really any difference. Edit: The only difference i see is the UBD roms for south/central america have different types of modem and also those telco link sets. International sets all seem to have similar modems. QUOTE(magnumkaiser @ May 7 2013, 01:10 PM) This you mean?Method 1: Disadvantage : Here you will get full root access, but here recovery will remain stock, so you won't have option to flash zip files (still you can flash zip with Mobile Odin), but you won't have any option for Nandroid backup/Restore. Advantage : You have to reset flash counter once only, then whenever you need to reset to unroot/ready to claim warranty, just you need to go to superSU - setting - unroot. So If you are Flash counter conscious and really don't have need for nandroid backup, This one is for You. His mentioned disadvantage can be easily overcome . Just use Mobile Odin and flash the TWRP recovery img.tar file and you will have recovery installed The TWRP img file can be downloaded at : Do you already have TWRP then? If so you may start enjoying the pleasures of flashoholism. |
