Another 'chicken' restaurant... my opinion is this restaurant is too common at anywhere in the town.

I think Nando have a bunch of fans, i saw most time there are crowded. For sure there are more popular compared to Kenny Rogers.

why all new one is food shop , high margin ? no comparison ? others business all 'gong' liao ?

Bolehland is like that.

I open one shop selling burger, dam good business. Long queues of ppl.

Tmr 2 other shops opening doing burger business. I lost some customers, operating at about 75% of previous. But overall all shops can still sustain well.

Next week another 2 shop open doing burger but with small variation. One sell vegetarian/pork whatever burger, another one sell Taiwanese style burger (always same kinda gimmick, sell "Taiwanese/Korean/HK/Japan" version of common thing, ie Japanese Chicken Rice!! Taiwan Steak!). Lost some more customers now at about 50% of previous. Quite hard to sustain now.

Next month open another new competitor this time doing another gimmick. "Like original burger but with 50% CHEAP!" hoping to do price war to take market share.

Last last all 6 shop close down cos market can't sustain.

You want example? Look at Bubble Tea, Burger, Taiwanese dessert market. Same pattern repeated over there.

alot of the condo is still vacant and plenty waiting to sell. expensive to rent. as many say for own staying. some condo prices is even more expensive than klcc/golden triangle area.

when the nearby condo have completed even worst, like atria, uptown etc alot coming up and for rent or vacant

for investment buyers,  percentage is low, no point investing when the price is near the top and return is low. unless for own stay

inflation rate is increasing whereby eg ss2 soya bean van seller at road side have increase 10% ahead of the GST increase of 6%. and many more outlet have already increase

if electric/water/ other utilities/ petrol/ food/education/medical etc increase, it will definately have impact

if 1care 1malaysia medical implemented even worst 10% off yr salary even month, even worst

get a feel of the heavy burden on yr shoulders, will eventually know how it is, whereas people tell wont listen or half heartedly, normally people learn the hard way. what people want we also want right

hope it can sustain/maintain, else...

This one cannot say..

From the face of it.. You will know it wont be able to rent out easily.. Who wants to stay @ expensive studios when they can stay cheaply at other 3bedrooms condo or landed property...

No point buying from developers nowadays...

Neighbouring condos in ss2,section 17,section 14,paramount area still doing good...

burgerlab the food is consider expensive. how often/always can people eat at that price. the food is so so not that great n be immune in time to come. for ss2 area majority is old people staying there n will not always eat fast food and very thrifty in their spending.

but no harm can try. just look at macd promo price is so cheap daily for lunch dinner at rm6.30 per set the cheapest. competition is there.

in ss2 area in order to do business have to be cheap first and big in portion and tasty. just survey murni daily and their prices. why is it always pack with people. can people follow the way it operates? no bcos alot want to sell high price/ profit

alot of competitors in ss2. in order to compete and stay long, the business or backup power must be real strong else waste of time and money. rental is high and overhead etc

Same row with The Burger Lab, there is also a steambot restaurant. Should be a new restaurant but extremely silent during dinner time.

I am a KL folk.
I remember during my college day, I came to SS2 to meet with my frens and we always lepak in the Wai Sek Kai (open air) that time.
Ya, now different, the security is an issue.
and that area lots of massage parlours and many shops looks run down...
