U get a replacement or a new unit?  hmm.gif
*
Everything's in the original package. I received one refurbished one before, but I returned it straight away. It's a brand new unit this time. smile.gif

I thought I'm getting a refurbished unit since I've been using the current one for more than half a year now If I'm not mistaken. Lucky for me I guess...

iv'N : The answer is easy, we dont make enough noise and our consumer rights are not known to everyone. In the states if something is not right they sue. Here how many ppl are willing to go that far ?
*
Make some noise? You don't have to go round shouting at people, just tell them nicely what you're not happy with, and why you wanted a replacement unit, I guess they'll be more than happy to replace it for you, it's not like they have anything to loose.

1 question to ask, if using a LCD monitor to play X360 game does the Response time affect the gaming quality? the 16ms response time will it create problem to fast pace game (racing or maybe shooting)?

No issues with the response time over here. The screen feels huge because I'm sitting right in front of it (like when you're using the PC).

I still can't believe GOW can look that good. I don't wanna miss out all the little gritty details.

If I'm on my PS2, I'll be lying half dead on the bed playing. smile.gif

verced: Err I dont mean shouting la. As in making official complains and all that. Alas sometimes when things go bad and when you ask then on warranty or any issues some shops just do not serve the customers with the same enthusiasm as when we purchase the unit from them. =)

As far as I'm concern, 2407 only comes with S-IPS and S-PVA screens. Mine's the S-PVA. The screen can be ridiculously bright at times, but thank god for the Service Menu, everything is adjustable.

Some people actually thought they can solve problems by shouting at people. smile.gif However, I can't blame them at times, not everyone who works there tries to solve problem, some of them just give you ridiculous answer and hope you'll content with it.

When that happens, just ask for the supervisor, they're more reasonable most of the time....

What's the average price for the monitor anyways? They price their products like the stock market.... sometimes it's up, way up even, and sometimes it's freaking low.... smile.gif

It's a matter of time and luck. Good luck bro. Come back here to tell us all about your purchase!

Proton different case lar... tongue.gif They dun give a damn about their customers... most of them purchased it because there's not much choice anyways. You know what? Most Malaysian companies are like that. Anyone tried talking to a Streamyx 'supervisor' before?

As for consumer electronics, that's a different ballgame altogether. smile.gif
