QUOTE(ulwan25 @ Jun 19 2013, 01:22 AM) SnapDragon 800 for what aa?? I don't get it. my L920 is still better than S4 in terms of performance and fluidity My guess is true multitasking (with a limit, like, up to 6 apps or something) will be activated for quad core devices. Not a bad thing to future proof a device when so many idiots judge a phone by specs nowadays.Edit: Snapdragon 800 has godlike speeds, at least on benchmarks. http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/18/qualcom...mdp-benchmarks/ This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 19 2013, 01:11 PM |

Judging by Huawei's rant of want to abandon WIndows Phone 8 OS, i don't think Microsoft will allow it, when in need microsoft may even step in to help nokia with their money.
BTw, is Android really 100% free? |

QUOTE(ainuddin @ Jun 19 2013, 01:12 PM) QUOTE(calintztan @ Jun 19 2013, 01:13 PM) Should be quite impossible. From what i read, chinese OEM seems to dislike windows phone and probably against it also due to nokia dominating and msft license fee. The latest update is they denied wanting to buy Nokia to Reuters (in the same post in WPcentral). I'd rather have Microsoft buy Nokia than some Chinese fag company... Im saying this as a Chinese myself.BTw, is Android really 100% free? |

And recently, even MSFT is busy promoting nokia everywhere(not being sarcastic, but they seem to totally forgot about HTC 8x WINDOWS PHONE) . Android has no license fee but all those google apps are installed on your phones on default. They basically earn money by those ads spooking around.BTw, is Android really 100% free? |

Android is "partially" free. You are free to use it and modify it. But, if you mass produce as a product you still need to pay for a license in order for your device to be registered to Play Store to be eligible to download apps from PlayStore. So, these android phone manufactureres are still paying some sort of fee to Google for using Android.

Even if they want to buy it doesnt mean they can. You cant buy something that is not for sale. And the Finn investors whom have more than 30% stake in Nokia will not allow it, not to mention Microsoft will intervene.
Huawei buying Nokia = Windows Phone going down (Huawei will make Nokia make lagdroid phones), Microsoft wont allow that. This post has been edited by EXkurogane: Jun 19 2013, 01:38 PM |
