Does it show the model number (i9500 or i9505).
I know the Note 8" (n5100) already approved by Sirim and yet still no news on when it will be launch.

oh now i understand already. so it has 2 gb ram of course won't hang or lag! very smooth

btw, why does s4 has two versions? One has 1.9 GHz and one has 1.6 plus 1.2? What's the different?

Which one releases more heat when you are using many applications? Which one probably use up battery faster? As I was being told by others here, they said quadcore is better than dual core coz quad core conserves battery better? I noticed on my android phone, everytime I play candy crush saga or open many social apps, my phone will be very hot when hold on hand, and my hands feel so uncomfortable dry.gif

is it just me or everyone is like that?

Smooth yes. Hang/Lag depends on the users. For example, what you install. If i installed apps that are coded wrongly it could make the phone hang. but does it mean it is the phone's fault for the hang? Definitely not. In short, all phones can hang or lag. There is no such thing as a hangless or lagless phone. But on a general note, it probably wont hang or lag unless because of like my example above and many more other factors.

the 1.9GHz is the Snapdragon 600 processor while the 1.6 will be the much talked about octa-core Exynos processor.

Which one releases more heat or uses up battery faster? Yet to be found out as S4 is not released yet. and there is no dual core here. It's quad core of the S600 or octa-core of the Exynos(Quad core x2, not actually 8 cores). I believe dual cores are a thing of the past now for most android flagship devices. But take note the octa-core uses big.LITTLE architecture that one of its main positives are better and more efficient energy consumption. So it is speculated that the octa-core would be better/more efficient at consuming/saving battery.

Seems it gonna be that way since the Octa (I9500) already went into Sirim database. Hope SME gonna release BOTH Note 8" and SGS4 on the same day. drool.gif

Unfortunately the Octa don't have LTE mad.gif

but three variations of the Samsung Galaxy S4. First, with a 1.6 Ghz octa-core Exynos 5 proccessor and no LTE (GT-I9500). Second, with a 1.9 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with LTE (GT-I9505), and third, a Korean variant which features a 1.8 Ghz octa-core Exynos 5 processor with LTE (SVH-E300S).

Note 8" or Tab won't come with Octa. Atleast not this year tongue.gif

Spen useless to you doesn't mean it's useless to everybody else.
I do use SPen frequently for my Note2 and surely will use it more with the bigger screen on Note 8". rclxms.gif

S-Pen is useful to me as well, but I want something pocketable, like Note 3 drool.gif

Note 8.0 and above is too large.

I use Note2 when working or hanging outdoor. Will use the Note 8" at home only. Prefer 8" for reading rather than more bulky/heavy Note 10.1"

Yeah..I found those Sirim database which stated the Octa version but without LTE. I wonder what model number Samsung gonna use for the Octa with LTE.. hmm.gif

I'm not in a hurry to have this S4. Most probably I'll buy it a few months later. Hopefully by that time SME can bring in the LTE version for the Octa. biggrin.gif

am not in a hurry, but not going to wait for octa + lte version. as here in kelantan i doubt the lte coverage will be wide enough.. even hsdpa coverage is poor.
