my total spendings on petrol/grocer/Telco for August is rm930 so far
if i pump petrol today, most likely the transaction will be posted on 31 August 2013...
just wondering will there be any delay since 31August is National day..
or i should just swipe amex instead?
errmm 31August is still consider august right?

so the rebate is based on posting date? not transaction date?

posting date matters for wise card.

in other words, it's rather risky using the 10th swipe on the last or penultimate day of the month.

If i don't see any rebate in my HLB Connect until now, is there something wrong?

any way to pay Tnb bill online though HLB website or other method?

first time using wise card. i pump petrol about rm40 at lunch time but later i received sms saying card debited rm200. so i call hlb for clarification. staff on duty told me the rm200 is as deposit and rm200 will be credited after the petrol station completed the transaction. i was told my subsequent petrol purchase will have this rm200 debited (as deposit) though there will be no more sms notification.
how come need rm200 as deposit?

1St time using card ? All cards works that way unless you preset your filling amount.

NOT first time using cc but 1st time using wise card......i dont recall there is rm200 deposit

Just got my hlb wise card, but it is not autolink to my hlconnect account. According to CS need to printscreen my hlconnect account which shows that the CC is not linked and email to hlonline@hlbb.hongleong.com.my and that this is the only way. Is this so?

Cos the pump doesn't know how much exactly you going to pump in, right ?
And they need to approve the transaction before letting you pump, right ?
Thus they do a pre-authorisation amount of RM200. Why so kan-cheong ?
