Any payment to Maxis will be entitled to 10% Mobile Rebate from HLB Wise.... may not be true if you pay at Maxis Exclusive Partner (MEP) as it's run by other co., not Maxis

Thank you. I am getting confused since there are some posts here said only 1 transaction is eligible under mobile category.

If plan well, this would the best card for rebates, but seems like it not popularly talk about.

I find that the rebate calculation based on calendar month and credited on the 28th day of next month confusing especially if the statement date is middle of the month. Might request for it to be changed to 30th. of the month to make it look simpler.
*
that's the catch.. the rebate will only be credited after 2 statement cycles no matter when is our statement date.. which means we might lose rebate for 2 months if we decide to terminate this card

Let's say if the statement date is 30th. Oct, Sept's rebate will appear in this statement, only 1 cycle.
*
that is not possible since Feb only have 28/29 days.. even if your statement is on 28th you're still gonna see it on the next 2 statement cycles

Please take note you cannot cancel just one card if you apply for combo card. So basically you have to pay gst for both cards next year which is rm100

for hlb wise, they won't allow anyone to apply for a gold card if one is qualified for a platinum. it's just like you can't buy low-cost housing if you are overqualified for it.
*
so that could be the reason why my application for wise gold was rejected before?

and you received a platinum?

No. I didnt get any. Not sure if it is related to my credit rating but other banks approved my cards easily.

guys did maxis offer 12 / 24 months interest free installment plan when you use wise to swipe?

I swiped with Maybank Amex and was surprised they offer so, happily took the offer.

Maxis 0% installment is Only for selected banks. Hong leong is not one of them.

My application for wise gold was rejected before and they didnt tell the reason. Never happened with other banks before. My question is can i give them additional supporting documents like bank statements other than the one that my salary is credited, gold account, unit trust and etc to make it look stronger? Will it improve the chance of getting approved?
