Totally agree.. with Maybankard 2 AMEX + OCBC Titanium + HLB Wise = RM200 rebates every month
RM3000 spends gets RM200 rebate = 6.67% average cashback (excl TP calculation)

Indeed. With an average of RM12k annual spent only, we may not stand on a good ground to bargain for waiver.
Come to think of it, after discounting the AF, the effective CB is approx 8.67% provided that you max up the RM1200 CB.

Finally got my March CB - RM82.00 thumbup.gif
I have 3 transactions on 30/31 March were not counted as they have posted dates on 1/2 April.
I presume these 3 will be counted as April CB and posted on 28May. Can anyone confirm for cases of transaction at end Feb?

Hence the CB basically just based on posting dates within calendar month. (Similar to Amex)
If this is the case, why only post on 28th of the following month? shakehead.gif
It is either HLB is far from efficient (Amex post CB on 1st of following month) or they just want to retain customer longer.

It does take additional planning/monitoring if one want to maximise the CB.
Now that my April swipes are done, got to wait for 28May, Oh... yawn.gif sweat.gif
But, at least it gives a handsome 10% CB up to RM100 per month. smile.gif

Anybody knows how does HLB calculates its 10% Wise Rebate ?

Do they add all transactions in the same category x 10% --> Round Down to nearest RM ?

Month end tranx posted in the following month will be counted in the following month. Confirm.
The only reason to delay CB payment is to curb last month purchases but return goods to the merchant early next month, so that actual CB adjustment can be made before 28th the following month. Most hypermarkets have min 7 days refund policy on non perishable goods.
Mbb Amex omitted this loophole. brows.gif

Each of the three opted category will have its sub-total x10% and rounding to nearest 1 ringgit.

Rounding to the nearest 1 means
RM11.80 = RM12
RM11.50 = RM12
RM11.20 = RM11
