Wish you luck...btw, bed and mattress should not have much problem, if they do not make careless mistake like wrong colour or wrong design... smile.gif

thanks for your update in this. u are right, there should not be any major mistake on bed n divan but my main worries would be on sofa set.

I have read this thread before decided purchase a sofa set. Browse thru Vonza and Deep Living throughout those Home & Living Fairs. And like all of us here, we were hesitating whether to purchase from them or no.

We like their sofa so much, thus we took a leap of a faith and decided to book with Deep Living.

We are very happy that our transaction & delivery is all smooth.
No delay on promised delivery dates. The fabrics color, free gifts are all correct and as promised. thumbup.gif

I feel that it is fair that we should post up good reviews for the company if they actually earn one.

Hope they can keep up their good services! rclxms.gif

I've also experienced a bad experience from the Managing Director, Lucy Wong. Her condescending and rude tone is utterly unacceptable. Funny thing is most of the phone number printed/displayed on their web/name card is not even in service.

Talk about a badly managed company.

Sometimes you need to be fierce towards them. If you dont sound them, they will just take the matter like nothing else.

I bought two mattress from Decor Point during homedec last time, the salesman told me that i can pay the balance by credit card upon delivery, just that I need to inform them earlier so they would bring the machine out. But later when they call me to arrange delivery and i request for credit card payment, they told me they don't offer such payment method during delivery. So angry to be cheated! mad.gif

That looks like 'rebonded leather' which is made from scrap leather mixed and glue together.
They typically fall apart after 1 or 2 years.

Many unscrupulous sellers out there won't tell you if you don't ask. They just say 'leather'....

I was wondering if I had stumbled upon this thread earlier will I still consider to not buy from them?Went to Viva Furniture Mall yesterday and they were having a roadshow there, decided to purchase one of their sofas with a more customized size. The design and fabric used was actually what I was looking for and without further adieu, I've paid for the deposit to the sofa and it will take around a month to be completed.

Keeping my fingers crossed now to hope for a smooth sailing purchasing experience. sweat.gif

P/S: I have been looking high and low for the perfect sofa that will match what I want, and do trust me guys, I've been to at least 20 shops in Klang Valley & KL area but have yet to find a design that provides functionality without compromising the aesthetics aspects of it.

I too have bought 10k worth of items from Vonza at Homedec last year, and only discovered this thread the night of the purchase. I was praying hard to be among the fortunate ones, but looking at their bad records, I know my chance is pretty slim. True enough, my nightmare has slowly seeped in as now I am at the delivery stage of all my ordered items.

They called me up about 6 weeks before April 1st asking to finalize my order and get all order delivered before Apr 1st to avoid GST. Of course, provided that the balance of payment to be made after delivery.

So I did, got my order in place and arranged for delivery to be on the final week of March. And guess what, one day before delivery date, this Lucy lady called me up and said need one more week to deliver.. But to avoid GST, settle full balance before 1 Apr.

I feel really cheated. But had no choice coz 6% of 10k is A LOT. I am also making other big purchases for moving into new house, so every saving here and there will really help.

This is only episode 1 of the delivery chapter. Only God knows what will happen to me until the goods have safely arrived, and no need to mention, my worries on the quality of the goods.
