I too gate crashed the launch.
I told the registration guy that im on the facebook guest list. He obviously couldnt find my name but he let me in anyway.

Finally got to molest the phone. Screen is great, so is sense 5. Two things I absolutely love about the phone is the boom sound and the amazing metal finishing. The back really looks and feels like my MacBook Pro.

Also did a few inspections to look out for gaps. Happy to say I didn't notice any of the units having this problem.

Also found out that stocks for preorders are coming in next week.

ic. so long story short in HTC One case is to get RM50 u need to minus 50 points unless you have a Plusone voucher. So how do I get this? They didnt give my any voucher oso when I sign up...

Also, you have any idea if we can combine it with maybank treatspoint? the customer service emailed me say cannot. But the again her english is also updown, so i duno if she really understood what i asked.

can combine the credit card points...u use 50 points to change rm50 voucher or use your plus one voucher to deduct rm50..u can only choose one..so mean rm2299 - rm50 - credit card points (if any) that is the price u paid... u just tell them, they can check for u using the credit card machine to see how many points u have in ur maybank card... and those voucher they can just do in their system... not need show them anything loh..

if we are using skmm means we need to subscribe any telco postpaid plan?? am i right?

Yesterday, the Dutch court granted an injunction against the HTC One due to the use of a proprietary microphone belonging to Nokia. However, today The Hague ruled that HTC was not at fault, and has allowed the sales of the HTC One in Holland to resume.


The microphone in question was developed by ST Microelectronics in conjunction with Nokia to use exclusively in the Finns' devices for the next year. However, ST Microelectronics violated this agreement, and decided to allow HTC the use of the hardware devices in its new One flagship.

The Hague has since ruled that HTC had no way of knowing the details of the arrangement between Nokia and ST Microelectronics, and has shifted the blame to the latter.

HTC is not out of the woods yet, however, as while it is allowed to sell all smartphones containing the chip produced until now, it must find an alternative supplier for microphones for any future One devices produced.
