Just off the phone from a reliable source. The HTC One is an exclusive partnership to DiGi and 1 retailer, hence Maxis and other retailers wont sell it before DiGi.

Media Launch of the phone is indeed 24/4, but it only goes on sale on the second week of May exclusively to DiGi and that other mentioned retailer.

Also 100% confirmed that our Malaysian version will have LTE.

They wont need to say Exclusive partner, because what they are actually doing is giving these 2 partners exclusive rights to sell it before anyone else.

SenQ is the other partner. End of April will likely be first or second week of May. I would be surprised if they sold it before DiGi, cos my friend said they're suppose to sell it at the same time.

Maxis wont appear so soon. As mentioned before, exclusive rights to DiGi and SenQ to be the first to sell before anyone else. Maxis and the rest of the telcos, inclusive of other dealers will only start selling from 2nd to 3rd week of May.

Well if LTE matters to you then i would suggest waiting for Maxis. The speeds are pretty good. Also because the bandwidth is still unhogged by too many users at the moment.

Well.. the nationwide roll out has no certain timing, but i believe, eventually it will happen, but its always good to know that it will eventually come to your city since the tech is already available.

Tonight, i couldnt tahan. I too went to SenQ One Utama and pre-ordered.

Estimated arrival of phone is around 2 weeks from now. Any earlier would be a bonus.

SenQ sales person told me that they ordered 500 units to be shared with all SenQ outlets. He also said, in terms of quality, dont have to worry too much, cos its considered 2nd batch manufacturing. First batch guinea pigs already taken by Singapore.

Oh.. i manage to nego with him and only paid RM50 for the pre-order

His photo and framing composition is very good But i would have to agree with you on the "smudging" its very soft. I have a feeling the images would look pixelated without much zooming.

Maxis will announce when they are sure of their stocks. Now priority is given to DiGi and SenQ/Sen Heng for first batch. HTC will open up to the other telcos and retailers for 2nd batch onwards.

U should pre-order, unless you want to wait for the phone to come to Maxis / Celcom.
At least pre-ordering will allow you to own the phone by May.
