Dual front facing speakers.

Lol, your point being? The last pic shows the earphone jack opening. That's not a dent or ding.

The 2nd last pic shows the glass laminated touch screen. Until I have the phone in my hand, I can't tell whether it is supposed to look like that.

Lol, relax bro. It's not as bad as it sounds. Just because one website says that it's hard to repair does not mean that it is the gospel truth, ifixit may be wrong you know.

Well, real life users have commented that the provided earphones that come with the phone are better than normal, the music sounds better with beats on, and the dual front facing speakers are louder and clearer than any current smartphones. So why not you give it a try on the HTC One before you write it off?

If you still can't stand it, then just put a case on or polish the branding off if it really bothers you THAT much

No phone is perfect afterall. But this One is pretty well near there I should think. Opinions of others may differ though. To each his own

Well, I think people have high expectations of Beats considering the premium pricing, and they are right to expect such quality of a product that commands such a price tag. But the beats on the HTC One are bundled together with the phone through software and maybe hardware(not 100% sure) too. You don't pay extra for the Beats. HTC pays extra. To me, it's better than the normal earphones supplied and that's good enough. Not at the top at reproducing beautiful music, but it is sufficient for me. Then again, I'm not an audiophile. I'm just a regular user who uses my phone stock

But so far comments have been good, if you have realistic expectations, and not expect to have an eargasm everytime you listen to music through your earphones

I do not know where did you get the idea that the HTC One is unrepairable. Just because one website found it hard to disassemble, does not instantly make the said phone unrepairable!!! You think maybe, just maybe those guys got it wrong? Coz I have evidence about people disassembling the phone successfully on other websites without such huge hassles or troubles.

So please, give it a rest about the topic regarding the HTC One being irrepairable!!! It's a misconception people.

Look back about 2 to 3 pages. The information is there.

Well the point that you miss was that all those replies were from Brian Klug, not from other people to him, but vice versa. In one of them he critics the iFixit team for not being able to identify the antenna points eventhough they did a teardown of the phone. In another reply, he asks a rhetorical question, saying that you do not need to destroy the phone in order to disassemble it, which unfortunately is what the iFixit team failed to accomplish. In one of the latter statements, he specifically mentioned that "no phones were harmed" during this teardown. Which means he was able to remove the components without damaging the casing and components hence he can piece it back together unlike the iFixit team who damaged the aluminium casing. He then posted up pics of the camera modules as supporting evidence that he indeed toredown the phone.

Is my interpretation off?
