Already watched a few and they are deadly poison! Watching them makes me wanna buy those sets! So far I remember watching:

- Arkham Asylum: already planning to buy whether I watched the video or not
- The Lord Of The Rings: Mines Of Moria: as above. In my wishlist
- Modular Town Hall
- Monster Fighters: Haunted House: the color scheme kinda bothers me though. Not a big fan of the green exterior

Besides, my priority would be to complete my Batman sets first. Then thinking about moving on to Lord Of The Rings theme. Or a Police Station (Commissioner Gordon needs a place to hangout).

I think I'm quite safe in the sense I'm quite picky. I don't think I'm at the stage where I'd get a set because it's EOL. I'd get it only if it interests me. I saw a MOC of a modular Police Station on Eurobricks forum so if LEGO does release a modular Police Station, it'll go into my wishlist too.

I think this is a possibility seeing they already have the Firehouse. Maybe just need to be patient or I'll go for Set # 7498.

But it's your hard earned money, you choose how you wanna spend it. And it's not like you don't spend any on her, she's a very lucky girl. in fact I would guess that you spend most on her and kept only some for yourself. I would understand if she is your wife. Maybe she wants it all for her, that's why she's nagging so much. She's lucky you're not wasting your money gambling or on booze and other women. You're just buying Lego & toys. She's got no right to dictate your spending. I'm a girl, and even I think however she's treating you is wrong. Haunted house is a very beautiful set. It's the first set made to look runned down, abandoned and in ruins. It's my most favourite one, and I was going nuts when it was released on halloween 2012!
And managed to secure a set, built it over the weekend almost immediately.

One day, I might tear it down and probably use the green bricks to rebuild the green grocer

But I must agree, the Haunted House has a certain kind of charm to it. Can't quite put my finger on it. But the green still kinda bothers me.

LOL. Well, I don't expect anyone to get me my Lego. I spend my own money for the things I love and want. I'm high maintenance for my own standards, I wish I was simpler and I wasn't into expensive toys and stuff. Cos it's really killing me... softly!

I want to finish this asap so i can get on with making a full recreation of my granparents home on 4-6 pcs of 32x32 hehe. once i find a place to put such a huge set.

I did want to be an architect until i saw the course fees, duration of course, and the crapload of work that need to be done lol.
i do mock ups of my design in Lego Digital Designer. If it seems to work, i will go into detail and do it.
I render the design using LDD2POVRAY and POVRAY software. it takes forever on my PC, but a simple 800x600 jpg takes about 1 hour to render.
I then export the design file to Microsoft Access using a tool, to determine the parts i need.
Then masuk excel, order piece by piece via Bricklink stores. This is the longest and most painful process cos no one has exactly what i need. I think for my Penang house i ordered from more than 5 stores over a period of months.


it probably would be more popular if i wrote in proper english and bothered to take out my dslr but with a family, all i can carry around is my compact camera.
