I've been lurking around for quite a while. What can I say. I've been poisoned looking at pictures of the collections you guys have. I was a minifigures fans, but now, after hours of reading this thread, I'm a modular fan too.

Lego played a small part during my childhood but I can't remember much. So it all started when I went to a Lego shop in Frankfurt. Then, I didn't know that such store existed. I bought few key chains and minifigures set.

Last year, I was stuck in Houston for two months for training. The place I was staying is far away for attarctions that interest me. So I went to a nearby Lego store at least once in a week. There, I bought few Superheroes sets, mainly because of the minifigures. I always bring minifigures with me whenever I go. In my bag now, I have a Sandtrooper, a Batman, an Ironman, and a Bilbo Baggins.

Now, I'm back in the US for a month. I just went to a Lego store in NYC, and man, I am hooked with modular sets. But I shall resist, as I'm planning to buy few Superheroes and Star Wars sets. Perhaps, I want to collect all available Batman versions.

It's such a lengthy introduction, isn't? I don't intend to offend any sellers/members here. I am aware that few members here do CS once in a while. I intend to bring few sets back with me, if anyone is interested. I'll be back in Malaysia at the end of April. Again, I apologise if I offend anyone here. If so, I'll scrap this plan and keep following (lurking, posting, pictures) this thread.

I'll post pictures when I decide what sets to buy.

I will be broke soon    and I think soon will be single also   

Initially during my come back to LEGO, she doesn't really like to idea as LEGO isn't cheap and its considered as TOYS.

So i thought why not i import more LEGO along with the sets i want then sell them to help fund my LEGO. Well she ok with the idea.

Then one fine day when i bought Superheroes Loki's cosmic cube escape from Uncle Kenny.

My wife wanted to build it and she likes LEGO after completing it

Then i bought her spring time scene as a gift and she built that too.

Sigh~  The other day I bought a Lego truck set tot wan to build together with her... she    in less than 5 mins I open box... I    pack the lego, go back my house do.... Then if she want to do something of her own interest leh, if I only, I'm    dead for sure...

Bro. I think cheaper you just stick to current wife and continue with your lego purchase... My apologies to all female out there but wife/GF is super high maintenance!!:p

Can't stop scrolling and reading about her posts on Lego. I envy her so much! Hope one day I'll be able to have my own Lego room as well. But still a looooong way to go though.

Hello folks, I've been following this thread for the past 3 versions. I must say that all of you are a group of interesting
people becoz we share the same interest - LEGO.

I have to admit following this thread is very 'poisonous' indeed. Heart rate increases when seeing those spams/MOC

But what amazes me the most is your willingness to share your knowledge, related experience, CS and showing your impressive collections respectively. Keep it up.

One thing for sure is I cannot keep up with your almost bottomless funds to bankroll your hobby.... Another amazing stuff!

This is my small collection from childhood days including my first LEGO - 1978 Police Patrol car. Took me 6 months to find most of the missing items from BL to reconstruct the CITY theme.


My next project is to restore the old LEGO Space.

I used to maintain an EXCEL sheet for my other stuff but don't update religiously.

May use BrickPicker for this purpose now.
