Here are some ideas about 5ghz and 2.4ghz wireless =) The link only discusses up to "g" and does not include "n". I recall now after hero's post that before "n" came about, it was advised to only broadcast at 2.4GHz for "g" mode only to avoid dropping to "a/b" 11mbps.http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wireles...f/5ghz-gear.htm I didn't go into details for n since I don't bother about this too much now. |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Apr 8 2013, 12:48 AM) easiest would be to google your router model...lolI find it hard to believe our phone doesn't support dual band, though I cant actually check since Im on the crappy TMnet router. It has the BCM4334 right? BCM 4334 definitely supports dual band a/b/g/n. and yes, A supports 5 GHz, but im sure when they say a phone as recent as ours supports 5 GHz, they are talking about N btw, s4 supports 802.11ac |

Was lurking in a few device threads the last 2 days. It seems that 4hrs SOT is an amazing achievement for them, the standard seems to be around 2.5 to 3hrs or so.
They all get their slim and sexy designs though |

Errr ... the point of the usage survey is to determine popular ROMS Edit: and the kernel version is a mess as everyone key in their own way. I was testing some stuff last night, and think it works but the tradeoff is there is no timestamp. Still doing some further testing. That was using Forms+. Testing out polldaddy.com and the like but there seem to be even more limitations. Yes, I know the version freetext is a mess. You can be co maintainer for version checking Anyway the current form is not showing the correct number of responses, and the "Adam" kernel thing keeps sticking there even though the raw data doesn't have it anymore. EDIT: This fellow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1926506 is doing a very thorough current ROMs list. I'm using that as the source list. QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Apr 8 2013, 08:58 AM) I always stick to perseus kernel. Dont know why others eg redpill just do not appeal to me. Together with monx rom perfect comboI did not even bother to use stweaks included Battery life excellent. Example last night with 3g on n active fb , gmail notification drop only 1% from 97 to 96 over 9 hours I have achieved 7.5 hours SOT with still 15% battery left |
