Nothing beats my Melko case ( flip leather) - i have accidentally drop it several times already and the phone remains intact ; only some slight bruises and scratches on the case only. The case clips the phone quite tight. Is worth every sen. I just bought another same case to replace my previous one. Some might say the case is too "old man" like but I love it and I have always buy Melkco flip cases for all my phones - and always same design-type/color each and every time

Sigh ... I'm asking here and hoping anyone has any suggestions/same experience.

My note 2 keeps restarting on its own. I don't think its a problem with the battery cause sometimes, it'll just freeze first before restarting.

I don't have any "jack sparrow" apps on the phone so I don't think it's a virus or anything.

Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance guys.

my al-cheapo Nillkin is also unbeatable.. dropped (or rather flew) from my dashboard unto my gear shift then to the car floor at high speed maybe beyond 20 times already. case chipped but phone unscathed

In Stamina mode, you can set apps eg mail, tweeter feeds notifications, whatsapp , whatever apps you need etc to be in its exception whitelist and you will still get all messages even when phone is idle

i believe the equivalent is actually DSBS but then again its not so reliable as sometimes the messages do not actually come in and for Line, its not compatible or something whereby whitelisting the app does not work

Factory reset, remove root if you have and send it to service center.

DSBS set the interval time for apps to get internet access. Its pretty straight forward, turn off data/wifi and only turn it on at set interval.

Sony stamina mode app can have whitelist app that is still connected all the time. Thats why i said its an advance DSBS.

Doesn't Greenify also provide a whitelist function?

its not good enough.. i rather have something that

keeps the data connection active without any apps using it
black lists everything first
lets me choose (in a nice screen LOL not some hidden menu in the deep crevices of the dark moisty app) my white list
then lets me set an interval for checking (eg: 0 (forever on / push) , 1m , 5m, 10 m etc etc)
then lets me set a time duration of the day
with the option of location

Greenify just put apps to sleep and not linger around.

Just got my phone from Samsung Federal High branch SC today. Super satisfied! Everything seems fine for just 1 day repairment.

This power saving that samsung should implement at the first place. Dsbs+greenify

samsung went with creative ideas

1. reduce max freq (ok not so)
2. reduce screen tone (genius)
3. low power for screen (wtf is this, less brightness? less voltage to the screen?)
4. haptic crap (ok... even worse)

actually with just greenify and some stweaks tweaks, i am more than satisfied with the phone's battery life

from my nightly 15% drop is now much lesser (7% ish)

now itching for the arrival of my imak case only
