Do u have some firewall installed? Happened to me 2 weeks ago the afwall+ blocked all traffic and I thought mine was starting to have wifi problems reported by miloy2k.

Finally uninstalled it and rebooted then everything was fine.

Sighhhhhh......... why larrrr people don't want to put casing. RM700 with a little spare change.

doh.gif

My monstrosity of a casing ( alexng2208 ) is RM250 retail, and would have reduced the chance of catastrophic screen breakage.

So bro, buy a proper casing ya. Otterbox Commuter is less than RM200 IIRC, and not as bulky as a Defender. Or see if anyone has UAG. The SGP that alexng2208 is proposing is also just a pretend-case.

Or even Kubalt, I got one for my wife's S3. Slim enough but covers the entire device, nice and grippy.

I knew I installed a firewall. You may have some kind of data usage monitor which may be blocking as well. I use My Data Monitor which has a block all function. Or stuff like Juice Defender also does strange things sometimes.

BTW:

How Sony's Stamina Mode works. Got the link browsing the XZ forum, by psyeo. From my read, it seems to be a sort of baked in DSBS + Greenify.

To be honest i find some people have been too phobia on wakelocks lately. Even a few min wakelock will freak them out.  doh.gif  I blame the author of BBS for presenting us with these infos.  tongue.gif
*
That happen for some that do not have important things in life to do. Some they mod and install custom rom then got issue they trouble and complain themselves for?

For me I just get a power bank solve any wakelock or sleep lock crap.

Just imagine a business person making thousand to millions do you think 1 to 10mins wakelock on his phone important? Time is money

LOL prevention is better than cure works only if you have a jungle loads of moneyyyy

i am poorfag after using all my life savings and selling a slice of my liver to get the note 2

i then can only afford the cheapo RM38 casing... but luckily for me, i'm lucky... (knock wood)

maybe i would suggest you to replace the screen for free (send a nice sweet email to SME) as my colleague got his replaced for free too ..

Whatever , Sony Stamina mode works and that is important. I don't care about how it does it but it works magnificently. Every day without fail, over 7 to 9 hours overnight , my battery level always stay the same as the last reading , eg I go to bed at 85%, the next morning after 7 hours it stays at 85% ; if it is at 94% , it will remain 94%
NO need any usage of 3rd party apps to control these
Even when you are using it as long ass screen is off, the battery level remains static unchanged

i guess a good way would have to be a third party app then smile.gif

but then, this does not allow anything other than gsm data (calls + sms) to come through...

sounds like a good trade off when its night time but no so when its the daytime..
