What a coincidence. The first earphone I bought was priced at RM10, JVC smile.gif
Buying a RM80 earphone is kinda "too serious" in listening music, at least that's what I thought at that time. Now, an RM80 earphone or headphone sounds like "low end" liao.

Aiya, just get the best one and settle on it forever. It solve all your problems. And you can reappreciate all your songs one by one.

loud songs meaning rock and heavy metal? If you are listening to rock a lot go for grado. Definitely suits you best.

The ksc75 serves sounds quite good for its price though. smile.gif

If I'm not wrong, the one with a volume control is imported from US, while the one without the volume control is available locally. The one without the volume control is more expensive because the local seller charged a more expensive price compared to the one imported from US. smile.gif

I don't think you will enjoy the ksc-75 on the bus cos most likely all you will hear is the bus engine heh. and also even if that doesn't irritate you, the ksc-75 will most prolly irritate the guy sitting next to you on the bus.

from my experience, I think its best to get the non-vc ones. My ksc-75 right side is currently going bonkers and I do think that its the vc that's causing the problem.

hmmm. i'm concern abt the part where i cant enjoy it on bus. is the sound isolation really dat bad? i'm ok with using normal earphone (those creative give one) on bus. i'll spend 50% of the time listening to it outdoor. so i tink it's pretty significant in my choice of earphone.

IEMs / canals would provide you the best isolation thumbup.gif as they shut the outdoor sounds out so you'll only hear to whatever's stuck in your ears

Disadvantage is that when people nudge or call you, you won't even bother to turn back cos you can't hear a single thing. A dangerous thing especially when you are crossing the road cos u'll be too engrossed in your music whistling.gif

Headphones ARE better than IEMs though fans of IEMs would contest that brows.gif Try closed-type headphones for better isolation, such as ATH-FC7. Not promoting, just my honest recommendations tongue.gif

But then again, for something really really cheap, I'd say Koss is still the winner although not amongst my favourites .. jus IMHO tongue.gif

It's not that bad, i used my KSC75 on the bus almost everyday before i got myself an IEM
They'll do fine in buses, you'll just need a higher volume compared to listening in a quiet room (duh)
