where did you get yours, i guess these things are a matter of timing and luck... i did try to get ksc75 2yr ago without luck...

i tried every way i can already
even tried modded the foam
mod the grill of ksc75
thinking of optional that ppl pay extra RM 25 i can mod for them. the foam mod is simple and fast.i can use a sharpen pipe to make a very tidy hole . the grill i got mini dremer set can fix all hole within 10 minute. i even make the aluminium templete of the ksc75 grill already for drilling guide.

but after sometime i found out it's sound not as good as ori version on recabled ksc75.
so i didn't even offer it in first place.
i have 4 ksc75 before. now all those modded and recabled were given to my family member. only left ori ksc75 with recabled with me.

What about grill modded on stock cable?

and got several of my buyer . after mod it. come bck to me buy original + recable version.
and get rid of their grill modded.

I did mine long time ago, but I don't have stock ones to compare so I just continue using it.
Another mod is about putting 75 ohm resistor, or use the er-4p > er-4s adapter, anyone tried that before?

I wonder if there is any compatible headband to use with KSC-75 (pop out the clip and just pop in into headband) so it will become something like the KOSS PortaPro.

i tryed 75 ohm adapter 110 ohm adapter 33 ohm adapter as well.
i feel u put any resistor on it. u are shinking the soundstage of it.

what is the point of simply mod it while udon't know what u wanna geT?
better bass? better mid? better high? or just mod it for sake of mod and see if any miracle can happen?

that's why i said
if u hand itchy wnana mod. that's totally different with what most ppl want here.
of course some might say that after mod is so good so good.
but in the end
still it's not balance anymroe. because u just basically mod it for sake of mod it. while the sound is perfectly all right.
might be good for female vocal. but male vocal sucks.
might be good for A. bad for B.

that's why when i do recable i have to take consideration of all those.
and i strongly advice those to take my ksc75 don't simply mod it. else void all warrenty i given for workmanship.
and any one attemp to mod the headphone after i had recable it will void my warrenty.
