Well, for me I don't have problem using the ksc75. Just don't turn the volumes too loud since it's easier to have hearing loss with a earphone/headphone than speakers. And also putting too much bass and/or treble in normal volume also not good o.O

I heard there was a guy who bought a cheap plantronic's headphone just to get the ear cup to use with the ksc75 since it got hole in the middle, perfect to be used with kramer mod.

How come this thread suddenly becomes buaya'ing thread adi lol?
By the way, better be careful using ksc-75 outdoors since it doesn't isolate any noises, sometimes you didn't realize you're using dangerous volume levels. I never use mine outdoors. I have 3 ksc-75, one kramered, one my big sis use, one still unopened This post has been edited by terradrive: Dec 20 2009, 04:24 PM |

I found out that while the koss is harder to drive, I only need about half the volume on my cheapo creative mp3 player to run it at enough volume level.
Running on louder volumes to drawn out outside noise while on noisy environment listening to this open headphone is a big no no. It's time to invest on IEM if plan to listen on the go. I didn't listen to my ksc-75 much anymore since after kramer mod it sounded harsh and very bright and trebles sounded artificial now. I haven't compare to unmodded ones atm. It's really really ugly, I'm ashamed to post it up. It's just normal sponge used for washing dishes, and it's the cheapest I can find.
I just use scissors to cut it up to 2 pieces and glue both of it using super glue, holes are cut on both sides so that the headphone can slide in while the other side is a 20 sen sized hole. By the way, how much is the PX 200 ear pads? Any cheap "lubang" to get them? This post has been edited by terradrive: Jan 1 2010, 03:45 AM |

I don't have stock foams atm, so I can't comment on it. It's been a long time since I last used my koss on long periods of listening so I kind of forget how they sounded.

Maybe that's why Koss dares to offer limited lifetime warranty.

Mine still using stock non-volume control cable, but kramer and quarter modded, and I still feel the rm400-500 sounds a lot better.

Make sure that it'll be the model without volume control on the cable too, afraid that it'll lose a bit sound quality.

Other than the original foam, are there cheap foams sold in shops that can be fitted on ksc75? Or any super cheap headphone/clip ons we can buy just to get the foam. The pads like PX200 can fit but the price is too expensive for an inexpensive ksc75 leh.

QUOTE(xenohawk @ Jan 26 2010, 06:14 PM) LOL .... This thread really off topic liao. I wonder how is it when use KSC75 and watch those anime with annoying high pitch voice hahahaha... Better use iem to watch those questionable "animes". If use ksc75 for those, dangerous if you put too much volume and people outside can hear. QUOTE(moniqee @ Jan 26 2010, 06:11 PM) i wont be gay... except lesbian... dunno about 168257061 (dunno his/her real identity) How do you compare the SP1 with your other iems and especially ksc75 ^^ yep i also got a External HDD... ^^ 500GB sum more... ^^ lol... i'm really loved SP1... finally an iem that brings me bck to iem world... *danger danger!* |
