basically all ppl who ask me to recable is wait for almost 1 month one. some even longer.
i can't do it so fast.. else susah
i really pay attention to make sure the braid is smooth enough. so that both side is equally same length. and the cable itself oso same length.
if i simply braid. although i use same length cable to braid. both side will end up different length due to different tightness of the braid.
and soldering it to the driver is quite high risk, stock ksc75 currently has lower and lower built quality. i did has one that the electronic board didn't glue properlly on the headphone and it drop out. only voice coil holding it. so dangerous. almost kill the driver
so i have to slowly move it back to the postiion and glue it with super glue.
i won't want to send the headphone to ppl and then got complain.
lol
Wah superb workmanship hehe... really glad I got mine also and so far really loving it thumbup.gif . People always said why so cheapo looking clipons paired with ganas amp and modded, after they listen to it they stand there eyes wide open hahahaha.

Just got some tiny microfonic that can't be help though since the cable is thicker (recabled ver.) now so if cable kena jacket zip will carry to clipon also.

well one of the reason I took the chance is that, I keep noticing better sound that I counldnt imagine coming out from a Koss 75(recabled) I put quite some effort into my source and I can see the KSC75 is responding to it nicely albeit less so compared to bigger cans la. So I think the driver has potential  nod.gif

lol settle yur amp side 1st bro doh.gif
the dac is good no doubt u just need the amp to perform at top synergy with yur dac....
yur dac is crying out for balanced output .....and since u aledi invested a lot into it ...example furutech fuse, oyaide powercords, arcolink coaxial and certain tweaks ...
how yur gs-x? i think u already grown janggut waiting for Justin's bloody amp.....there is a new Eddie Current Equilibilia balanced amp and it is quite similar to Balancing Act .....if u wan something solid state...try the Qes HPBA2 amp , BLue Circle custom amp Flo, Rsa Apache if u like Rsa signature or SPL Phonitor

no lah.
crazy meh.. normal version some more already got ppl pm me ask can reduce price or not.
i am not earning that much in this kind of recable
hence i will save my self for trouble.

even giving choice of colour of cable is not easy alreadyt. have to stock up.

more over like case of extreme mod version. even if they willing to pay that much of money. they can't wait that much of time. while i have totaly no ideal of what kind of cable suits it. and ur side ,even sieg oso not yet confirm. how to offer? i can supply super crazy recable on ksc75... no matter how expensive he want the cable is. even crystal cable RM 10K to recable the KSC75 i oso can do. it is nothings that much different to me rather than just solder them on... but who willing to afford it?

i dun wanna make myself into trouble later on.
the market here isn't like SG leh.. all those ppl spend money for audio stuff like never consider worth or not in SG.
here is totally different story. ppl want the cheapest it can be, and the very best it can be.. best if can beat HD650 with price of RM 20 , that's the best...
if i put that choice to ppl. i will have to prepare my mailbox full for ppl asking for best price. what material i use... what is the different in between that several unit. which one more worth.. some ppl don't wanna to buy oso hand itchy try to PM to see if it is possible to get it at extremely low price... rclxub.gif
so forget it.
if sieg want it. that will be a 1 pcs only.
*
haha yur onli 1 pcs which is the only masterpiece like my beyer & k701.....
anyhow it is up to Sieg to decide between whether he wan oyaide or mundolf for it...i think he scratching his head over it....and somemore very risky and mite not improve the sound signature of koss

lol 6.3mm? i thought u using koss for lite usage and travelling purpose? rclxub.gif
viablue is lighter than furutech in terms of weight
overall the sonic superiority goes to furutech for it's dark signature and has very mircodetail...
viablue has slightly warm signature and smooth upper mids...
both of them imo r very good
but if u getting mundolf cable then viablue would be a good pair with it...furutech i think sweat.gif too heavy and too resolving for u...
if oyaide then furutech would be ideal cos the cables r tough and withstand the weight of furutech itself
it's boiled down to preference now....

i teach that three ppl. not to produce things under my name. infact i encourage them to come out and do their own product / brand.

as pcwork audio means. the things shall be done by pcwork. lol
and every single one of them said "shall be ok mah.. "
but after i teach them. all of them quit diy cable..

let say. if u braid the cable too messy. will u willing to open them up and braid again? with that. the cable actually got shape already. it's even harder to braid.
and when opening it up. have to be very careful not to twist the cable too much.

if mistakely cut the wire too short a bit (say originally u wanna keep 3mm,. but u cut until 1.5mm) the plug itself is so small. the 1 mm oso does bring a different.
of course, i can still solder it on. but it will be shorter contact point. then, do u willing to change the whole cable? while u spend past 45 minute braiding that cable? just throw it away?

i do all of that. i don't give my self excuse. that's why i delay for longer time to do recable. if i am not in mood / condition to do it. i won't do it. i had recable more than 250 pcs of ksc75. and non had return to me for warrenty claim that my workmanship on cable is faulty.
so when ppl come infront and fxck me right in the face. i know if i am wrong, i am wrong.
i always imagine that .. what if someday. one of the customer of me. become so familiar with cabling stuff. and they open up the cable i did? what they will feel.
lol
so i dun dare simply solder.

i willing to let it end up as a good memory. rather than take the risk that he might ruin the whole things. . unless some one really full hearted wanna do it.
else i won't simply pass it to other ppl to do it.
and if some one else wanna do recable. if he is so full hearted. then he shall able to find a proper way to recable it with correct combination of cable. and i guess he doesn't need me to teach him. so it's good oso he can start his own brand.
as i said before. anythings that i do. with a PcWork audio logo stick on it.
that's the best i can offer already. every each and single unit of things i stick my logo on it. meanings it is at least reaching my minimum requirement of quality control before i releases it to customer.

the cable i use to recable ksc75. can withstand up to 8KG of weight hanging on it. lol.
