We will know only after xiaomi official release, both also ok for me, Nvidia tegra have some optimized apps with extra effect, snapdragon is not bad also

Hardware yes, but software is another factor, depend on how xiaomi system will manage the battery.

I would prefer it to be at 5.0 Inch instead of 5.5

other than spec, how is the built quality for phone like xiaomi or oppo? drop test etc...

Nexus 4 drop price already, now about RM830 only with quite fast processor(it use Krait cpu which is based on 15 instead of A7 like on mediatek). Is it worth it to buy chinese phone that doesn't have much developer support unlike Nexus 4 just for dual sim function?

If you have and need 2 sim but dun mind to bring 2 phone all the time, then u can get 2 Nexus 4, if not it worth the money, you will know how good it is after you get a dualsim phone(if you need dual sim).

Did you always change ROM? If not we will no need ton of developer support as long as the pre-load system is stable and ready for daily use. And backup & restore when change between ROM is quite a long pain process for me.

I used to get a kick out of ROM flashing, but then I settled on rooted stock with framework tweaks and uninstalling bloatware. Having available custom recovery is also a fantastic bonus.

The only real setback is probably the lack of official custom recovery builds for the china phones, coz root is usually available.
