I was currently deciding which phone to get to replace my Xperia Sola.
Within the budget of RM700-RM1.2K Any suggestion thought? Of course , the lower the better. I was thinking JiaYu G4 , is it good? And using MTK Processor , quite worry about the performance thought. |

QUOTE(neuro4869 @ Jul 10 2013, 02:46 PM) I would suggest you get a Nexus 4 if budget isn't an issue since most of MTK6589T phones priced almost the price of Nexus 4 but only few hundred RM cheaper but if you want my suggestion for these chinese phone i agree that JiaYu G4 have really good quality. I would like to have Nexus 4 as well but budget don't allow thought. I might save more for XiaoMi M2S i guess.QUOTE(BartS @ Jul 10 2013, 02:57 PM) Perception of performance is subjective. Depends of which angle you're looking from. If you own a S4 or HTC One, then you may perceive G4's MTK6589 quad as a tad slower. Thanks for the clarification. One of the + point is that JiaYu has larger capacity of battery which could last me longer as well as i never tried any china phone before and i heard great review from forumer/blog. Which i wish i could give a shot thought. How about iOcean x7?Since you mention Xperia Sola, I'll use that as a yardstick. Sola manages an Antutu score of 5335 (source) while the current G4 scores approx 13000. Up to you how that's perceived. IMHO aside from heavy gaming, anything with scores of 13000 is good enough for general usage. Anything with significantly higher performance is out of your current budget. QUOTE(BartS @ Jul 10 2013, 03:07 PM) Go to a shop which has G4 in stock. You get to play with the phone a bit before deciding. If it does not meet your expectation, don't buy. Im located in Kuching and local shop don't carry these. The phone in EM is much more costy than WM. Do share with us the results of your findings. |
