I'm using the white Xperia Z as well.

For me I just bought the black one from derreck @ RM 90, saving me another RM 90+, just tahan using black for now and wait till the price drops till about RM 20-30 (like it did for the Acro S dock), and with the RM 90 saved, you can buy 2-3 more OEM docks, and white as well.

Is it a must to unlocked bootloader in order to install custom rom? I dont quite understand bout this. I c some rom can be install in both lock n unlocked bootloader. What is the difference? All i know if we unlocked bootloader, warranty will b gone n also we lost bravia engine. Can someone explain this.

Also i wana know im still on .350 firmware, i have rooted wt locked bootloader, install xzrecovery(i blieve this is what people cwm right?) , install couples of mods like blacksystem ui n purexaudio, what will happen to all these if i decided to update to .434 or when a better update like 4.2.2 arrived? Also will it be save to update with all these mod settings already done? Can i reroot n install all the mods back after update?

the rom can be installed in locked bootloader device bcauz they r using stocked based kernel
only rom come with custom kernel can be installed in unlocked bootloader

whn u update u will loss all ur mod including root
u will need to root again, n install the mods again

most probably u can re-root but sometime sony will patch the security hole
so u cannot obtain root in locked bootloader, but it is confirmed .434 firmware
can be rooted even if u r locked bootloader

That is stamina mode default feature of this phone. One of its kind only

The stamina really saves my battery life.. i m happy with sony..

simply put when we leave our phone on standby, the stamina mode work like charm.

hav u update to the latest firmware ts? it's it true some claimed that this update fix the sudden death issue? so far nothing happen yet on my phone. btw if u already update, hav u successfully able to change the system ui to black? cozi read that after update IT will revert back to grey n also some said unable to change to the black system ui with the old method. canu clarify this?

bcauz the new framework.apk is causing bootloop 4 the device if u change 2 black UI

SOD is android problems could be messenger apk problem
or root problem or even custom kernel, tis is not just xperia z experiencing it

i didn't experience SOD in xperia Z yet, but i doubt it is sony's fault

How many tines you have ask this? Just do a nandroid backup current rom n test it yourself n you will know. If cannot have black ui back than just restore back previous rom. I always believe test yourself to clear any doubts
