if display set to ' distance to empty' , when reach '0', the display will just flash and the fuel low light comes on. ~ 35 - 40km. When I refilled, the tank took up 53L! (capacity:55L), too close for comfort.

yes , 2L balance which means ~ 10 - 20km (depending on traffic and how we drive). So the computer is giving ample warning from the moment it starts showing the low fuel light.

New owner of eb with first service due soon. So far mileage is 930.

In my 2wks with the car I have noticed a few characteristics. Would like to ask for some advice or feedback.

Here goes:

1) Understand that cvt whine is a characteristic of the car. This is especially apparent when accelerating at 2k rpm and above. Also apparent when coming to a stop while stepping on the brakes. The sound is like a high pitch whine like when sitting in plane and you hear the jet engines from inside the cabin when the plane take off. Normal?

2) Acceleration in this mpv is quite good. I am seriously considering installing the racechip s to up the power. Will this void the warranty? The manufacturer claims it will not. Any Bros here can share experience with racechip upgrade?

3) Will strut bars, vertical and horizontal undercarriage braces and rear anti roll bars help in the handling or ride quality of the car?

4) Thinking of doing insulflex sound proofing on floor, beneath wheel arches and under arch panels, doors and lower firewall. Anybody tried this before and kindly share the results?

5) What are the best drl lights for this car? Am looking at Philips or osram or other good quality units. Also what position on the bumper is best to install drls?

i can only share my experience with your no 1 question

yup me too, when accelerating it sounds like jet engines from inside the cabin.. and i honestly love that sound

1. turbo sound if start be noticeable at 2k rpm. normal
2. as long as you don't cut any wires and remove the unit if issue arise, i don't think any issue with warranty. but better consult SC and the manual book
3. mixed opinion. i personally against adding strut bars unless you want to tweak your absorbers too. car was setup by lotus already, why we want to make it stiffer. make more research first before deciding.
4. NA
5. get good quality and try experiment best location. my friend put under the grille or above the lower small lights

give me more millage compare to shell, petronas and petron( the worst)

1.) thats the turbo sound.. if change to open pod, it will sound like kepish! kepish!, (already changed mine)

2.) racehip - go ahead n install.. rm1800.. will not void warranty coz no wire cutting.. plug n play.. got some
forumer inhere alraedy install it.. search for him

3.) yes, it does helps.. already install fullsets of UR bars.. improve A LOT..

4.) insulflex floor - not done yet (mahal)
insulflex beneath wheel arches and under arch panels - will reduce around 20% noise only.. already done it
insulflex door - some say have effect, some say no effect.. i do STP gold + bomB.. SATISFIED already..hehe
insulflex lower firewall - better to use STP gold / bomb.. use insulfex got no effect..

5.) i dont like drl...hahahahaha

Leaking oil from the hose pipe that going up on the picture.

Saw this on Facebook fan page. Some say its defect from 1st batch until now. SC will only change it if leaking detect. This is know issue by Proton SC but they just keep quiet about it. Anyone who do they next services should check it.

Edit: Only CFE engine.
