My first photo here. Is this called locust? 

Google says its the short horn type grasshopper in the tropics, they live solitary but when theres a population explosion, they will form a swarm known as locust, very destructive on plants & vegetation. The last I heard this year was in Madagascar, few months back.

Tried using raynox b4 but it reduce the sharpness lo..
Anyway using 14-54mm mk2 to take macro good enuff. When i zoom in still sharp sharp

Ya, Olympus has been relentless in making good bodies since day one and I still has my very first m43 the Ep1. But since last year I had jumped over to the Panasonic camp, after selling the Ep3 for lack of an EVF, which I crave so much over the years. But I still keep the Ep1.

I had GX1, then GF1 & next was the G2, which I love so much, I sold it off to move to GX7 now. And I think Panasonic really nail it this time. And with the new GM series, things are really looking good for m43, unbelievable how far M43 has grown.

I am looking forward to the day when the pen series would get an EVF.

I personally think that Olympus and Panasonic should stop making bodies, should focus on doing more lens. we need more ultra wide angle lens ~~ how I wish we have UWA with constant aperture..

when the time comes that m43 can be used for sports with fast tracking, and the flash systems are comparable to DSLR...then only will i ditch all my nikon gear...until then i keep half half...shorter side for m43

but f0.95.. the DoF so shallow that very hard to manual focus 

Tested EM5 too, but sharpness, color and speed are slower than GX7, dont really like it. For noise handling GX7 did pretty well even on high ISO, anti shaking body but most of my lens has Power OIS so not really into consideration. I think they really need revolution on micro 4/3.

not sure how much gx7 had improved but I dislike gx1 colour rendering. a little too greenish for me . but m43 I think they already doing well for their bodies but that is just me since photography is only a hobby to me. what im hoping is more 3rd party UWA lens like how tamron, sigma and tokina manufacture some affordable UWA lens for APSC.

3rd party makers are sitting on the fence and watch, apprehensive for fear of unprofitable products, only miserable few have tried. But I am pretty sure they are monitoring the market very closely. Mirrorless and m43 in particular, has been making headlines time and again.

Sigma did d first step by releasing 19mm anf 30mm f2.8 in very cheap price
Give them sometime, I am pretty sure they'll jump off from the fence once m43 proven is one of the future.

Tamron does have a 14-150mm lens for m43s.  Slightly cheaper than the native superzooms.

Problem is third party is quite quiet with their mirrorless releases you sometimes don't know they exist.

want to ask, for macro photography, any recommendations lens? not so pricey one. manual lens also can consider.

How bout better or below better lens?

i tried kitlens (lumix14-45) with closeup filter and raynox(borrowed), the 4 corners have distortion and chromotion effect. And kit lens is f3.5 or 4, so a bit hard to get higher light in dim area. Also got use flash, I think need diy some diffuser on it. Didn't get a sharp image and colour was abit dull.

I wanted to know if there is any old lens recommendation, preferably f2 or 2.8..... but budget around 500 or lower.....
