Em10 with 2 kit lens rm2600
Em5  With 2 kit lens rm2700
Just rm100 difference. Difficult to choose, but I like em10 more .
Any deals cheaper than this?
*
I posted em5 combo before at 4k. You can sell the 1240 f2.8 at about 2.5k or more later then get the em5 at 1k+ only. There's a second hand unit around GS with 2kit lenses for 2k only.

*
I think its not hard, even if you can't sell it, its a very good lens. Worth to keep.

I got reply, need deposit and wait for 3 day for item then pay full.
I just got another offer em5 + 12-40 f2.8 pro + battery grip HL-6 = rm4350, just add another rm350 for hl-6. Look like em5 replacement will come sooner. When I ask for same package for em10, he said no pro lense package for em10.
*
if you need the grip then go for it smile.gif the 1240 is quite heavy on small oly body like the em5, the grip will help a lot i think. yeap, no such package for em10 since it's a entry level OMD. if you can wait then hold a few days or weeks to wait for the announcement, should be exciting.

just one quick comment.
as you edited? the background to black, u would also expect the transparent parts of the bottle to be darkish also...not white.
*
Yea it was cropped into a black background. I know about that and tried making it black, looks worse to me so i decided keep it white.

yuyu, I salute u still can feed that troll at canon thread . was laughing all the way while reading through the thread.
*
haha really? no lah not feeding the troll, just trying to help since I asked some stupid questions before when i am still new. but if he continues to ask nonsense I also lazy entertain. the one in Beginner Lens Recommendation is the real big troll, keep spewing out rubbish.

I totally agree, its a hobby I will not let go anymore, since picking it up again after a lapse of nearly 20yrs. And like ken_jr, i was too hooked up with kids n family and I regretted it, not documenting the kids growing up through photography.

One of my dog that stayed with me since I was born passed away few years ago, wanted to find back it's older pictures but don't have any. since that I learnt to take pictures of things around me so that I can keep those memories forever biggrin.gif

The other troll at beginner lens even funnier, thanks for showing me that thread hahaha! He thought em1 with 12-40f2.8 is special order from usa hahaha
*
haha yeah, not the first time I meet a guy like this, pretend that it's a training for my patience tongue.gif

that one really hilarious, now I regret spending time playing with that troll. and in his world, a 24-70 only has f2.8 version.

QUOTE(bobds78 @ Nov 11 2014, 07:33 PM)
Exactly, that is what I should have done but I just didn't cry.gif those memories are gone forever, probably not forever, they are just too vague to recall. Compared to photographs, they do tell a thousand words, and sometimes beyonds words. hmm.gif
*
our brain can't really memorize much consider we accept so much of new contents every second, not to mention the joy of sharing photographs with people too. smile.gif

it's a She. always making happy faces when people get close to her, very playful dog. there's a little (wound? i don't know what's that) on the right eye but I don't know what to do with it hmm.gif

anyone heard of this brand before?
http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a220m...48807378&is_b=1

the bag is waterproofed and quite good looking I must say, most importantly affordable.

Never heard of this brand. But the first impression that it gave me is the design is exactly same like NG bag but the price if much affordable.
Some more NG bag is not weatherproof. You can give it a try if you are interested.  hmm.gif

QUOTE(bobds78 @ Nov 15 2014, 04:08 PM)
I see the wound now, not serious. Observe for a week and see if it gets better or not. If not, maybe a vet's services will be needed.

The bag looks very nice, and so damn cheap. Go get it.
*
A very tempting bag, but I'm not sure if I need it now haha, definitely looks more stealthy than my current Canon bag. Less than rm100 for a bag like that is totally no brainer though.

Hrmmm. From the pictures, the internal padded case looks like it fits only 1 body (detached) and 1 lens?

The outlook (of the bag) looks nice, but the bag overall seems big if that's all it takes?
*
Yeap its mean for smaller system. Fits well for m43 I think, since it can fit a big DSLR + lens.

Hi guys,

Just want to know any of you who has experience upgrading from GF1 to the GX7 or the OMD EM5?
How good is the sensor and how many stops do you think is the GX7/EM5 better than the GF1.
*
around 2 stops I would say, and the Auto White Balance on the GF1 is quite awful too.

the dynamic range on newer sensor is a lot wider, more highlights/shadows can be recovered while keeping the noise level low too.

Hi All,

I am thinking to upgrade my EPL2, I have a Pancake 20mm 1.7f and an Olympus 12mm lens.

Should I go for EP 5 and EPL7, or EM 1 and EM10?

My main focus is taking photo > video
*
epl7 is smaller than ep5 and have selfie function with the flipping screen. ep5 is more like a em5 without EVF built in with newer sensor. em10 is a updated version of em5 but without weather sealing and slower max shutter speed (1/4000 compared to 1/8000) + weaker IS (3 Axis vs 5 axis). em1 is the king, you get everything you need from weather sealing, tracking focus, big grip and more advanced features.

if budget allows, of course em1 would be the best. smile.gif
