it happen to my dad toyota land cruiser prado before .. the steering will vibrate when hit 100km/j .. the solution change all tyres from goodyear to bridgestone .. it seems bridgestone tyres tread solved the problem

Can try Bridgestone Dueler at 265/70/R16

the last i checked on 245/65/17 on deuler840 is around rm550/pc.

Sent to another tyre shop to balance. Same result still vibrating.

Maybe rotation was not done correctly(directional wise)?

One of my friend has one of this, but is Marco brand. got it done at Kuantan for around Rm900+, plus the installation, about the same with Batu Cave 4x4.

also, do you know if they would take the trade in for the Original rear bar?

this unit was wrecked just after it returned from JPJ for registration. owner rage like hell since car already registered. if not registered then wrecked, then can kawtim change new unit... pity that guy

it's the same engine, but different variation (same with triton vgt)

the triton lite has a light boost turbo, thus produces only 80-90hp

the standard triton has the same engine but with higher boost turbo unit and produces 130+hp

the vgt also has the same engine, but with variable turbo and produces 170+ hp

if i were you, i'd get a used standard triton - it has a lot of accessories - air bags, side step, side mouldings, higher ground clearance (due to different rear axle)

i was at hatyai before raya - the prices are just slightly cheaper > your savings will goto the diesel & toll charges.

**main pointer - you must contact them before going or know someone whom can bring you around bcos most accessories shop there do not keep stock; they'll order from bangkok (takes another 2~3x days).
