There's frequent talk about Jalan Alam Damai being clogged up with vehicles during the peak hour traffic jam. What about the inner Persiaran Alam Damai road leading toward the PR1MA apartment as shown in the image below? Do motorists use this road as a shortcut to bypass heavy traffic during the peak hour jam? If so, it would be unfortunate for the people who are using this road to gain access to their homes or leaving them.

There are hardly jam at Persiaran Alam Damai, except at junctions at both end. It is far less popular than Jalan Alam Damai, due to many road bumps in between. Many motorists using the road to reach Damai Perdana, bypassing the jam-packed Jalan Alam Damai 3 traffic light stretch between Jalan Suadamai and Persiaran Alam Damai.

Thanks for the information. Yes, there are many road bumps along Persiaran Alam Damai which bypass the main road, Jalan Alam Damai due to the housing area at one or both sides of this road, mainly double-storey houses. It would be unfortunate for people living in these houses if this road is also jammed up during peak hours. If the jam is only at the junction at both ends, that it is still not too bad. However, if the jam is all along this Persiaran Alam Damai, it would be pathetic then. Motorists might as well don't use this road as a short-cut if the road is also jammed up, since it will take an even longer time (instead of shorter) to cut out to the main Jalan Alam Damai road if the main road is also jammed up.

i just simply apply for trying my luck and to my surprise i was selected. just received the email invitation today.

as this is my very first house and limited knowledge, i shall do more research about how to go about it.
some quick info hope you guys can enlighten me;

1) for pr1ma house, do we need to pay downpayment? anything i need pay using cast at all?

2) i believe the project will be completed this year. so i assume i can't be paying 'interest' as its almost completed. so i won't have time to enjoy and need to fork out extra for the monthly installment.

3) any idea how can i rent out if i decided? i guess property agent can't help on that right?

4) since my name is under CTOS (already fully settled remark), easy to approve by bank?

5) any industrial area there?

i shall go there to survey this weekend too...
thanks a lot

Shall i say you're lucky or unlucky because they just balloted for bukit jalil and brickfield projects.

1. Depends on the loan, if you can get full loan then no down payment.
2. Correct, should be getting keys in coming months.
3. Cannot sell or rent within 5 years.
4. Yes but depends on your current commitment.
5. It's residential area. Surrounded with houses, shop lots, school and police station.
Yup, you may go to visit that area.
