seem dont have telephone cable or network cable involved in...
u can use MDSC0039 to protect all the power source... but all equipments power source must draw from the same cal-lab unit only in order to build up the protection boundary...
*
so it will be like this? :
wall socket -> MDSC0039 -> power strip -> my equipments

btw, PM me best price for 1 unit of MDSC0039 + postage to JB

tq..

For those of you who hope to rely on belkin surge protector to protect your goods from lightning:

http://reviewsurgeprotector.com/surge-prot...-they-work.html

QUOTE
"Do not expect a surge protector to stop a lightning strike however. They only protect your electronics from standard power surges. Lightning blasts are just too powerful to be contained by a small device. They would melt the surge protector and anything behind it."

Obviously it is not designed to combat lightning. It only counter the power surge problem, but I doubt that as well. I discover the existence of power spike/surge when my speaker emits a "bup" sound during the device next to it is being switch on/off. So I purchase this belkin surge master to eliminate this problem but to no avail, the speaker still emits same sound when switching activity takes place, proving that the power spike/surge is still present. It is useful as a piece of junk obviously. My psu malfunction because of this phailed protection!

I'm not sure whether this cal-lab can eliminate the spike problem, but from the feedback at least it shield users from the lightning shock effectively it seems.

STV9511 RM79 for market price...

the maximum damage coverage was RM5000 and renew the insurance RM10 yearly... but it only apply for those proper setup with correct models... if those users used wrong model and did the wrong installation, insurance company wont agree it as the failure of product because the failure lead by human errors which no within the control...

but if u done the setup correctly and followed my recommendation, 99.9% will safe even though without insurance... smile.gif

u can send in your damaged unit to show room at bandar utama, centerpoint for one-off replacement & no waiting time for restoration... the total damage is RM25 for immediate replacement... recommended do a phone call to show room for ensure the availability of their IT pack which used for restoration before u go there... smile.gif

the item that u mention used for eliminate / reduce the noises come from power cable and feed into ur equipments which may create the buzz sound during the operation...

Hi, just to give some feedback about the quality of service and repair.

Like ycs, my IT pack's telephone module got fried by lightning. Went to Courts Mammoth since I thought they could help send it back to Cal-Lab but the sales people there were too lazy to bother.

After checking with gkl83 and also Cal-Lab's customer support (who both have the patience to answer all my questions XD), I send it back through courier. The unit was repaired and sent back to me in just 1 day. Very impressive support.

Only cost me RM15 to get it repaired by the way : )
