Ok, i will take SFTV9622FC(1unit), SF9812DSL(1unit) and SKPX-DSL(2units). smile.gif

Since the 9622 can be used with multi sockets, I will just use that and put all my low power equipment to that.

Tell me when to pay (and also how much including post laju since I am in Penang).

I will PM you with the bank in details and shipping address once you tell me when to pay. smile.gif

Glad to hear that... i knew that yesterday evening had a thunderstorm around Klang Valley, highly believed the SKPX DSL module hitted it and safe ur PC equipments... what u need to do now is do replacement cost by RM10 with cal-lab showroom located at Bandar Utama and able to replace it on the spot... it worth that getting effective devices which replace it by RM10 and saved ur PC equipments... smile.gif

since ur room 1 PC located together with ur modem, which means the lan cable within 1 meter long, can be no to protect it since the protection within ur room boundary and dont have another external source connection to strike ur PC...

Room 2 used laptop right? laptop protected by SD-4C?
maybe u can relocate it to Room 1 and Room 2 protect power line only by using MDSC0039 since only laptop...

Room 2 is for PC, Room 3 is LAPTOP.

SD-4C have a SLAN1236 inside right?

So how much for following items

MDSC0039 x2
SLAN1236 x1
SP9201DAF x1
SD-4C x1

Is there any other option to avoide the earth cable hanging around.
Like I can replace the Room 1 <<MSDC0039+SLAN1236>> with a SD-4C. Can i ? But the MSDC0039 1-10A and SD-4C 1-5A.

For SP9201DAF i didn't see any combine version.
Of course i know there is customized service. But didn't really need to customized 1.

THX Again.. ^^

Yes, u can replace MDSC0039 + SLAN1236 by SD-4C
but SD-4C should sufficient to provide power source for 1 complete set of high power consumption PC...
if u have 2 set of PC in ur room 1, u may need MDSC0039 instead...

SP9201DAF act as ADSL splitter filter... but i recommend for SP9201DAF as separate module, most of the lightning surge come from tel line. if u have separated tel line module will allowed u save some bucks for each replacement. but u can ground the earth cable into any wall socket's earth point or any points that grounded...

I have two sets of PC but only have one power socket in my room.

I wonder if i can use a normal multisocket to plug into a MDSC0039 to power the two PCs and the other electric appliances (desk lamp, fan, and a hi-fi system). Will it be over-loaded?

ahsham, you will probably want to check the total current drawn from each device. each socket is rated for 5A or 10A only.

that difficult to justify, prefer that u calculate the total voltage that it will consume for each electronic devices...
FYI, MDSC0039 able to support up to 10A or 2000w... u can try to look on electronic labeling, it should mention how many A or W it will consume...
