Don't you guys feel slow speed when you are downloading anything in App store?
*
if you mean Google Android Play store then yes. All I did was set my router DNS settings to Google DNS and it seems to resolved it

if you're using RG4332, can refer to a guide here:

Wanted to get Unifi 30 Mbps with free national calls but they declined my request. So, I switched from streamyx 2 Mbps to 8 Mbps a few months ago.

Now got a call from TM marketing offering me RM199 for Unifi 30 Mbps (with free national calls up to x mins).

Appreciate advice on whether I should move to Unifi 30, what things I should pay attention to in the package, during installation etc. As this is a new package, I should get free router, cordless phone, etc?

Many thanks.

Do you suffer from spiking? For eg: playing a game and suddenly it lags abruptly or high ping.
If Yes, grab UniFi.

Do you stream video and love high quality content in 1080p?
If Yes, Unifi.

Hates slow uploading speed at 0.5mbps?
Ye, you know it.

Do you have other alternatives other than UniFi?
If No, UniFi. no choice. lol.

Yes, you should be getting a modem, a BTU(Fibre to LAN), STB(HyppTV box), cordless phone. All for free.

Installation should be free that includes rerouting + drilling fiber optics cable into your house.
Refer to the catalog for more info.

During installation, if you want a cleaner interior and exterior looking in and out of your house, inquire the installer. External charges applies.

*** No complaint from my kids playing games on the net.

*** Able to watch HD movies using streamyx 8 Mbps now though needs buffering in some cases. But will be GOOD later full HD without any buffering! Ha.

*** Uploading is not a problem for me. Happy with 0.5 Mbps.

*** Only Unifi in my town. Much better if in W Msia.

Like to know the router model you got for the Unifi in Sarawak/Sabah.

Hope we don't get the left over older models in E Msia. Ha.

I think it depends on luck more than anything. If the contractor handling your installation only has older routers like mine then you don't have any choice.

But like once of the TM technician told me, just get your own router as all their provided routers are super lousy

Thanks.

Very disappointed with this Unifi thing now. After the TM Marketing call on Sat, got a call from another guy asking me when can they come to install. Later this Monday am was agreed on. Said to my wife that I was very impressed with TM's super fast service now. Ha.

But this morning, no one came.

Called Help 100 and she said the installation is scheduled for next week!

Inconsistent infor within TM.

Hope that I will get at least a 850L. Good enough for me when compared to 2750E I am using now. Ha.

If they are using the older router for me, I will ask for installation later till they have the new router. I can be a pain in the neck to others sometimes fighting for my rights. Ha.
