At Least you got 4mbps, like I said be4, the Unifi stop before my lorong is one thing, but I only have 1mbps AT MOST. When ask why no upgrade to at least 4mbps, they answer cos unifi is going to reach ur area so wont upgrade the streamyx speed. I been getting this answer for 3 WHOLE YEARS ever since i asked everytime i paid the bill.

it should be one of those roadshow like events they have been doing like recently at CityOne and Saberkas. Very likely would be the standard packages. Usually only special offers would be for those long time existing customers whose contract almost expire

I think it depends on luck more than anything. If the contractor handling your installation only has older routers like mine then you don't have any choice.

But like once of the TM technician told me, just get your own router as all their provided routers are super lousy

Just go for it if you don't mind about the pricing. Only Unifi can solve my IPTV issue. I got lagging issue during i'm watching CloudTV and MYIPTV with streamyx 8mbps during peak hour at 8pm to 11pm. Some channels even not able to load up and having freezing issue. The line become very lag during I'm watching IPTV, I can't surf internet, slow when loading facebook. The only solution is to switch off those IPTV to bring my line back to normal.

Only with Unifi, now I can watch MYIPTV smoothly during peak hour. I guess this issue is because streamyx upload speed was limited at 0.5mbps. However, Unifi got 10mbps upload speed. I guess most of the third-party IPTV is running in P2P basis. MYIPTV is consumed up to 4mbps download speed and 4mbps upload speed.

Like to know if there are some Sarawak or Sabah users who got the free Unifi upgrade done already.
