i don't think there's any bank that can deposit money in sg and withdraw in malaysia right? (because i just asked ocbc, they say they are different companies from malaysia)

*
From what I know, you can deposit your money in HSBC and withdraw from any HSBC around the world, as long as you don't mind the lousy bank exchange rate. ><

I think this also applies to any banks that issue ATM cards which uses Cirrus (like MEPS, but it's a worldwide interbank network).

No problem.

btw, just curious why you dont want find it online? propertyguru is a good website for room search, at least i found one there, no agent one.
if you dont want to pay the agent fee, find online also can,not necessary must come down. all you need to do is dig deep. mostly agent, but got some is w/o agent.

Maybe i'm just being too choosy on the place.. haha.. plan to walk to work only.. cause i saw nearby got housing area.. haha.. will try my best lo!! thanks..!

Ask them switch back to the previous system, manually queue in front of ICA every morning for numbers.

I really don't mind going to JB every week for a U-turn.
It's just that after the U-turn my MIL face the risk of not able to re-enter SG.
*
Once your MIL LTP expired, apply a new one for her with your PR status. Before your MIL's white card expired, bring the passport and white card to ICA and ask for Extention with supporting doc which indicate she had previous LTP and you are applying a new Pass fir her. Iirc they can give max 90 days Extention.

They will update your white card and you don't have to make a trip to JB.
