yes, you have to re-apply a new one. . And the company will hold ur last salary and settle all income tax with IRAS before they let u go.

another question, regarding money.

i don't think there's any bank that can deposit money in sg and withdraw in malaysia right? (because i just asked ocbc, they say they are different companies from malaysia)

how do u guys send money back to malaysia, e.g. give money to parents.

and most of the time u guys keep the money in sg and not malaysia right? hoping sgd value go up even more?

QUOTE(xtylish @ Apr 3 2013, 11:17 PM)
i just got hired. on the spot.

tomorrow i will go provide them my passport, ic, white card and my degree cert.

funny they want a copy of my spm just to keep a copy?

also, i took the job because i don't want to do sales, but the job is so easy, i think all i do is sit in the office blow aircond only. hence, only $1.6k.

please guide me what to do next.

also very paranoid about the medical report now. scared kena reject. maybe i just think too much.

and i assume i will get work permit only, they won't be so nice gimme s pass right?

so.. how am i gonna get that PR sad.gif

i find that not having a PR status is rather hard for me to get a decent job.

for now i am just gonna rendam myself on this super easy job for maybe 6 months still i start go interviewing again?

please advice!

My other half started working with 1.8k well below market value and local uni degree. Don't worry what others say. Medical checkup should be no problem. Happy working!

You can deposit money in SG and withdraw it in MY by using your ATM card. The problem..
1) Fees charge per withdrawal
2) Not very good exchange rate

http://www.raffles1.net/service.asp

Or you could just simply bring money across the border to JB, do cheap mani/pedi and massage and bank in directly into JB bank.

Or some of our members who work in SG live in JB also will help to take SGD, exchange it into RM and bank it into your Malaysian bank in JB on your behalf. PM our daikors Lester1987 and MacKiddo ask them add you to FB or Whatsapp group for more info.

Q&A website for those who want to register as postal voters: Undi Pos Q&A

Apparently you CAN register as a postal voter overseas... if you are already a registered voter (check here: Senarai Pengundi)

BUT you only have until 2400 tonight to send your completed and signed Borang 1B to the Malaysian embassy so that your ballot slip will be sent to the embassy.

The insurance company must have an office or branch in Singapore if your policies are taken on or after 10 August 1973.
