Anyone here use rm1.50 plasticine as clay bar ? I try on my 2 years repainted car last weekend with dis washing liquid, dry, follow by meg synthetic n quick shine. I hv not try meg clay bar but I did try perma clay bar. Not a pro but to me it's the same. I always lazy skip this clay bar and head for polish but than the cloth becomes real dirty. Well the above after applying meg synthetic, cloth comes clean.... Happy with it.

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Mar 6 2013, 09:59 AM) Of course..... You're kidding right???? ehehe.. that will be another challenge for me.. but not now.. not enough kung fu skill yet.. i'm actually trying to speed up my current processes. As of now, a normal maintenance wash (with detailer or wax topper) for me takes about 2-3 hours (the latter if I'm scrubbing and waxing my wheels). If its with claying + waxing that will take about 1 hour more. If i'm doing polishing that will definitely add about 1.5 hours. Interior cleaning and applying protectants will definitely take about 1.5 hours. lucky i dont have to do everything every single week maybe i should invest in a DA polisher to speed up my waxing/polishing process. Waahhh!!!!....I tot I was slow.....I need AT LEAST 2 hours for my *proper* weekend wash. But I can do a *quick* wash in around 1/2 hr....hehehe QUOTE(mav3rick @ Mar 6 2013, 11:04 AM) ehehe.. that will be another challenge for me.. but not now.. not enough kung fu skill yet.. You don't need much skill to apply a good quality coating (....well...actually...I only found ONE coating so far that can be described as such...hehehe...).

I noticed that the descriptions says: "New Dynamo Complete provides superior tough stain removal better than ordinary detergent + stain remover + whitener + brightener, keeping your clothes Clean Like New even after 10 washes" the whitener is not good for MFs right? beginning to notice that my MF is a little less 'bouncy' now.. sigh.. is it dead?

QUOTE(KrisMas @ Mar 6 2013, 09:59 AM) Of course..... You're kidding right???? No Kidding. I try the whole portion back of my car booth. my personal opinion, if i close my eyes and feel between clay bar and plasticine, well its the same. What are the ingredients of course i would not know or too technical to know the difference. when i rub the plasticine, there are dirt that stick to plasticine, like clay bar, like expert in clay bar says, use your hand to feel any pimple(did not try the plastic bag as forgot) and its smooth.... will do the rest this weekend if got mood.

QUOTE(mav3rick @ Mar 8 2013, 03:34 PM) thanks bro. do they come in sizes that will accommodate a grit guard? eh i think it isnt that vital for grit guard to fit perfectly? because it is to prevent your cloth from reaching (or stirring the water enough for the dirt to rise instead) the dirt that sinks underneath where without, one may do so by accident so long the bucket isn't in some odd shape and has the minimal gallon amount that grit guard specifies, i think it should be fine
