I phone has restarted 4 times today since this morning. The latest update I have done to my phone is the display + touch & access point. Anyone else facing this problem ? Is there any way to revert these updates ? Thanks

dont think can un-install those updates, but i'm not experiencing random reboots after updating display + touch, access point and nokia account...

My phone never restarts itself unless i turned my data connection on. most of the time is when it has a very low 3G signal. have been using the phone since 21st of december last year. if your phone restarts even if your data connection is turned off, you might want to check your apps. some people here reported that old apps causes this as well. the updates u mentioned doesnt seem to affect my phone.

my solution in my case is use wifi for most of the time, and use data if needed and if the signal is good.

I currently have around 55 apps(including preinstalled apps) and 35 games on my phone. music+videos(dont listen/record much =P) around 3.39GB and 3.85GB of pictures. the apps and games used around 6.64GB of my storage.

still waiting for the official portico update via OTA, dont wanna lose apps data. Microsoft should have implemented apps data backup. owh well, hopefully it will come sooner or later. =(

Why does the email on our phone not follow the email on our desktop/laptop ?

for example, on the phone where I would received an email then open to read it. After doing so, I may choose to delete it.

while on the desktop/laptop, nothing was untouched. The mail received on my phone which have already been deleted is showing up in my inbox (desktop/laptop), unread.

You'll have to press Sync button in the email app on the phone if you wanna see changes fast on your desktop. Else the emails on the phone will only sync according to the schedule set in the phone. Mine I set to every hour only.

Random resets seem to have something to do with background data transfers.. email.. whatsapp.. etc. etc. If it keeps reseting like another former has replied, it could be your dataline is unstable and the failed transfers are causing it to reset.

Remove all legacy Windows Phone 7 app, and no more random reboot.
Yes it works for almost everyone.

rule of thumb,
check app last updated date,
only install those from december 2012 forward..
