nolar... i'm just using that coz many people still like to compare with the 'best' and fruit is still widely perceived to be the 'best'. but nolar, i dun go call the users names, or anything. i respect their decision.

just that i get kinda annoyed that a thread about sharing info on the phone is always turned into some other things at the initial phase of the thread... by the trolls.

Or you can't decide any and end up not buying lol. Happened to me last year since S3, I have yet to buy a phone till now since then. Because them processors can't stop upgrading and I always wanted a MicroSD slot and removable batt. Looks like I should really buy S4 if the rumors are true.

Ehehe..standard procedure for trolls. Bash Samsung so they can feels good with their own product. Plastic and pentile are their favourite subjects...lolz

Samsung phone always have that features..micro sdcard slot and removable battery. This year HTC Butterfly and Sony Xperia Z also have that same features.

my advise to ppl is...

processor and ram will always improve and increase. there will come a time when people no longer look at these hardware specs but look at the overall experience.

so, as long as you can do what you want with the present models (and think you can continue to do so for the next 2 years), that is good enough.

in my case... Note 2 is just about right. i wanna be able to watch fullHD movie (only coz i'm lazy to look and store multiple copies of the same movie). note 2 and s3 can do that.

but i like big screen.

and ya... luckily... Samsung still have expansion slow and removable battery. i still quite traditional and would like them.

so, having said all the above... sometimes... even older models are good enough. and what more, older models will be more affordable once the new model is announced/ launched.

butterfly have removable batt? this i not sure
xperia z definitely don't have removable batt
in recent smartphone design, i think only samsung (i mean among major player la) is still having removable batt...

Exactly my problem but XpZ bested Bfly in every aspect imo.

I was never a fan of Samsung. Well, never a fan of any brand really. But Samsung's decision to remain removable batt and microSD slots shows that they still care for tech enthusiasts that once rely on them so heavily for rooting, creating gold card, flashing ROM, etc. When HTC opted for non removable batt the first time (HTC One Series) I literally raged and did not calm down for more than half a day. Lol.

Back on topic though, RAM is so slow it is negligible. Processor however, are changing non stop. Note 2 is ALWAYS a choice for me. I love that beast. Sadly if I have the money for it now, I would've opted to wait for S4 or just buy HTC One when it comes. If I ever felt like I need a large screen and a stylus, I will not look further and could care less about 1080p or processors then. That's my problem, hard to decide.

Which is why I'm looking forward to S4 being my stop, my cure, my long awaited gadget.

wow such a defensive reaction just becoz of the word plasticky. I highly doubt it would hurt anyone if Samsung made a phone that felt and looked better right? my god people i am actually considering the phone among the xperia z and butterfly la. chill la

Not defensive. The way you post was sort of like you dont know that Samsung use plastic. And even suprise when you find it out.

Yes..Samsung use light..thin..bendable plastic on nearly all its phones especially on backcover. Reason..easy to open it when you need to take out the removable battery.
If the backcover crack or accidently break..it wont cost you a bomb to buy one and change it.
