yeah... all these powerful processor, for most of the people, it's just underutilise...
hope manufacturer could start focusing more on battery life instead. i think the battery technology is seriously lagging behind the processing power needed

yeah, but it's not really practical to carry a phone and then another bulky external batt... especially if i am not carrying any bags with me...

yeah... exynos 5 not ready, nvidia tegra4 not out yet... all latest smartphone have to use snapdragon... no choice

but i think samsung will come out with some inovation on the software aspect

in recent smartphone design, i think only samsung (i mean among major player la) is still having removable batt...

yeah, by right they should. but what if the rumours of their exynos octa overheating still yet to be solved? and based on the stiff competition nowadays (apple, HTC, sony, bb, nokia, and also many china brand...), samsung can't afford to delay their flagship launch anymore. so in a way, they have no choice but to source from other brand.

who knows maybe now they use snapdragon s600 and then 2nd half of the year they will release galaxy s4 advance with their octa core proc...

hopefully la. kinda hard to believe its so similar to s3 and n2... i mean, in terms of design, each galaxy s looks quite different from one another. but this is just like a minor facelift from s3/n2...

sales figure no need to doubt samsung anymore. anyhow, S4 will surely be a big hit.

in a way, samsung have been very successful in smartphone market now (on par with apple i would say). there are so many S3/N2 user that i know who they don't know anything about the spec and special feature of their phone.

well, the article only said the total cost to build S4 is higher than ip5. it does not say the plastic is costlier than the aluminium in ip5. the reason of higher total cost for s4 might be due to other component, ie, 8 core processor, 2gb ram, amoled screen (as far as i know, amoled screen is the most expensive one),...

yeah... actually i got your point. no doubt s4 interior, it have good spec, if not superior spec at the moment if compared to other phone. and sure thing it won't be cheap to build it. but i think most people only complaint on the exterior of the phone, when holding S3/S4, it FEELS cheap. that's the FEELING that some people get when holding samsung phone...

i think that's the message people are trying to relay. not to say the overall phone is cheap. if those people that really say samsung phone is cheap on the inside and outside, they are just bias i think.

but i think enuf la of this plastic issue la.... i am not against S4 or anything actually. technically and specifically wise, i sincerely think it will outbeat all the current smartphone in the market/announced

gold and diamond plated... don't think anyone will say it's cheap gua...
