I don't know about you guys, do feel a certain level of disappointment here seeing all these consolidation going on with Android flagship phones.

Everyone just going 5" 1080P, Snapdragon 600. Time to yawn...

Overheating? Maybe, maybe not. Power draw is a serious problem with A15 though. I doubt it will ever make it into phones with 32nm. Anandtech has shown that its peak power draw was 8w (and its only dual core, let alone a quad) and then it will throttle itself to 4w. Double or triple Krait 200 power draw. Now with Krait 300, it's gonna be even worse comparison. Even Nvidia resort to A9 in Tegra4 for phones.

I don't think so. Competition is good. It keep Samsung on its toes.
But speed is not everything. Compatibility is important and also needs of support from both the Dev community and manufacturer support are very important.
Other phones manufacturer still struggling with their 4.1.1 while Samsung already leaking with 4.2.1

yawnnn thats why i'm done with smartphone. LOL

got other hobby already now.. haha.. its a never end race in here.. tired/bored of keep changing phone dy.. now i wanna use my phone until it barely useable, or upgrade when convenience/needed only.. lazy to think la.. haha..

Its just getting a little boring lately. Seem like anyone also had 5inch full hd screen, everyone also had Snapdragon 600, 13MP camera etc...

Android is consolidating... Its unbelievable.

Ehehe..in that case get a phone that have good support and prompt updates/upgrades.

yup.. last time, can show off, "hey i got the latest and most powerful phone here, and see my screen is big and super nice".. and your friends will get jelly... now, try say that, the replies will be "thaaaaaaa... so?"... even my makcik cleaner use Note now.. too common already

me now, "i'm using iphone 4 only, ade aku kesah.." as long as its convenience and can serve my need.. last time i use Note 2 also never use the S-pen to draw what, fancy only.. NFC bla bla boa never use what for..

The trend for android phone is pumping a beefy spec on a phone and make it looks good on paper.
But the problem with android phone is that the OS is not optimized for the beefy spec, so it still under-performing.
